Only watched parts of one episode, seemed a bit clumsy. It is actually called the great American hockey show. He's on the MvsW podcast quite frequently. Not much of a fan personally.

Still plenty of good posters to read on this board. Lots of regurgitating crap, too, but that can be weeded out. Still look for and learn from (in no particular order): Black Eye, DKH, Glory Daze, RealLinesman, bb74, Bill Ladd, Future Considerations, Nightslyr, WBC8, Neelynugs, Amazingcrwns, Colt45 of course, VeddarRants, Sarge88 (Rarely seen), Mick (Doc5hole), Pielsman, Morriws W, and so many more that I probably can't remember unless I see their names posted. Still around...??? Deal Law, Greyhounds, Ludwig Fell Down, Combat/Derek Chang, Dead golem, KSP?, jahbrations (sp), misterjaggers

Do miss Ironic - bastidge always has some good one-liners.
I'm still around. Thanks for the shout out. I pick my spots, as evidenced by my 600+ posts despite being on this board since 2006 (I joined soon after Raycroft was traded for Rask's rights).

and they say satire is dead

i always find it interesting that those that dislike the internet construct that accompanies this name tend to share a similar worldview, while those that find this funny share a large spectrum and have little in common

I'm just going to throw it out there because I won't stand on anonymity...dp is the ghost of Stanley Kubrick.

this is what happens when you don't give one of the best directors of all time an oscar for best director: he comes back from the dead to post awful screeds about worse posters who root for a niche team in a niche sport on a niche forum

There's probably some symbolism in here, but I am far too narrowminded and shallow to pick it out.

No need to apologize DKH.....Just the fact that I was way ahead of the curve on the subject was good enough for me....You were dead wrong and I was dead on....Take solace that at least you weren't the only one ()

I'm rarely around anymore, but no one seems to care! I must have had the quietest 9 years and 5000+ posts of any poster on these boards.

To neelynugs, whambamcam, ladyfan, geewally, erfus, etc. Do you guys remember way back, we did a HFL fantasy draft? Picked players in an enormous multi-thread style? It certainly helped pass some time during the first lockout. I just remeber that thing taking FOREVER to finish, and sometimes we'd go a day with no picks being made haha.
