I remember that set up. I hated when they moved off it because it was so easy to see if anyone had responded without opening the actual thread...

Don't worry everyone, I'm still here

What happened to Dojii?

I'll aways remember his bright idea to go into the playoffs with Kaberle/Kampfer as starters, and literally writing a thesis on "maximizing" puck movability or something.

Miss the polls too, like everyone

Nugs, I'm having a hard time figuring out which HFL team was yours. I want to say it's either the Jaromir JagrBombs (Confound is the GM and posts here), or the Alaska Mystery. Both of those teams made the playoffs, but got beat in the 1st round.
i remember having krejci, mike richards, karlsson, carlson. the rest is a blur.

I have Karlsson.

My son has Krejci.

Richards is on Niagara and I think Veddar has Carlson.

People love to trade, so these teams have all changed massively over the last two seasons.

I bought PedroSpecialK and his friends a round of beers without knowing who he was at Faneuil Hall the night Sequin was drafted because he caught a t shirt the Ice Girls threw into the crowd and gave it to my little guy.

Don't see him on here much either.

Good guy.

Must be good Bruin folk.

Many years ago I met up with SToMper and his kids outside the garden before a Devs game. I got there late. They had been giving out t shirts and were gone before we arrived.

Tom's son gave the t shirt he got to my little guy.

Something we will never forget.

He's only 9, but we needed a GM.

And he probably knows more about hockey than a good chunk of the people here

The kid really is a machine- never met anyone who knows more about sports than him at that age; however, where most of us got up as kids grabbed a bowl of cereal and watched Scooby Doo or Bugs Bunny or whatever, this kid is watching the NHL and NFL Network (my favorite story from Joe was when they asked him what he'd like Santa to bring he said Katherine Tappin)

I know of a guy that was like that. From what I heard growing up he always in the sports, hockey especially. Grew up to be a hell of a hockey broadcaster and even called games in the NHL. Has a photographic memory.

Amazing knowledge.
