Lundqvist should get a nod if he keeps playing the way he has.

Rask and Niemi should be up there also.

I don't think there's any clear top-tier as of yet. There are just so many goalies playing well right now.

2 things,

1) What's the cop reference?

2) That Dewey defeats Truman parody in your avatar is creative and hilarious.

Lundqvist is the most sensible choice.

1) Onrait is kind of just joking around, he's kind of alluding to the old cop shows where the head chief would yell at his detectives.

2) Can't take credit for it, not sure who made it but someone at the Pens board either made or found it, and we've incorporated it into our playoff avatars.

1) From Jay Onrait on TSN. Every time he was recapping Bob he would call him Officer Bobrovsky then make a joke about him being a loose cannon. It is a play on 80's cop movies.

So far, I'd go with any 4 of Rask/Lundqvist/Bobrovsky/Niemi.

Well Lundqvist is 2nd in sv%, 6th in gaa, and like 32 in ga but he has played more games and faced more shots than the goalies with better stats then him.

Rask, Niemi and Hank.

The Vezina is a reputation award so Hank is probably the favorite to win.

No. Weird season for him, tough to build up his save percentage numbers when the habs allow so few shots against, he's had a few poor games that hurt him too.

Miller has been on fire lately. If he turns it on, the sabres slip into 8th, would he at least get a nomination?

Should be Lundqvist. He is the best goalie in the world after all...

This year is no different.

Lundqvist is having yet another good season, but is he so clearly better than the rest to warrant back-to-back Vezinas? At least we are going to have different finalists this year, because Rinne and Quick seem both a bit out off their game.

Bob is clearly hot right now, along with the whole Columbus team, but can they sustain that form and make it to the playoffs? I think Niemi with San Jose and Rask with Boston are in a lot better positions in that sense.

Anderson has some crazy stats going on but will the lesser amount of games played hurt his case? Lehner has some statsheet to showboat with too, maybe an indication of a system rather than a goalie performance? Haven't really watched Ottawa games.

Don't think it qualifies... Elliot had insane stats last year and wasn't even nominated.
