Mackinnon and Drouin

Doesn't hurt that Galchenyuk missed the entire season last year in sarnia

I can only imagine what Chuck-Yakupov would have done last year if Chuck wasn't hurt.

I think it's close and also impossible to truly judge.

Mackinnon and Drouin by a fair margin for me. It would be closer had Galchenyuk played for Sarnia last year, but I still think Mackinnon and Drouin are better.

Pretty impossible to compare, but you gotta go with the flavor of the year, right?

Drouin is a fluff ball and will get destroyed in the NHL therefore taking him out of the equation. Yakupov > Mac + Fluff ball

RNH can give and take hits, but Thats for a different thread as i am not going to derail this one. Drouin is a charmin soft fluff ball and will not be allowed to get away with anything he is doing in the CHL in the NHL. I see him as Rob Schremp or Linus Omark... Dare I say Daigle?

Really high skilled pairs. Mackinnon and Yakupov are very very similar... And Galchenyuk and Drouin are too... Now who I'd take ? Probably along the lines of Mackinon and Galchenyuk, so its even. GIMME A EVEN BUTTON

Why are people talking about Galchenyuk's injury if the title says 2010-11 and not 2011-12?

This poll is stupid. Comparing Mack and Drouin's draft year to the year before Yak and Gally's draft year.

Daigle was infinitely better than Omark or Schremp. I'll take all 4 of them. thanks

Err one of the guys in the first group was injured for ~30 games and the other outright didn't play. Real fair comparison...

Thanks for the input Edmonton. One of Drouin's most developed and underrated skills is taking hits, dealing with clutching and grabbing, and fighting for the puck in the corners. He's not a hitter but he's no fluffball.

I would be surprised if you've seen him play more than 8 times this year, so your ignorance is forgivable.

You people are hilarious. I'd take Yakupov over either of the 4 players here and Chuck is going to be very solid.
