let's just win the final 2 games and see where the chips fall. I want the momentum heading into the playoffs

Let's see...Do I take the matchup against the team I know I can beat or do I go for the gold and pray that a minute difference in home ice advantage will be enough to put me past the team that destroys me every time we meet? Hmmm...

The last time we played the Kings, we killed them for one period then proceeded to die like and of dog. The Kings didn't beat the Blues, the Blues beat the Blues.

And, once more, our defense is now DESIGNED to beat teams who forecheck like the Kings. That's why Jay and Leo are here.

The Blues use to own LA up until last year. Eff 'em and their horses they rode in on. Beating them would make it that much sweeter.

Edmundson has scored in a four-goal onslaught by Kamloops during the 2d period.

Why did the Kings win in the first round last year? HINT: It's one single 3 sylable word, and your idea is to give up all of ours.

If our offense shows up, we can compete against anyone. If our offense continues to be unproductive, then we could lose a 7 game series to anyone.

It's not like those of us who think the Kings have us checkmated regardless of the new deadline additions wouldn't root hard for the Blues. To me there is a much bigger chance they beat the Sharks or Canucks than they beat the Kings. Much bigger. I simply want the Blues to have the best chance of winning the Cup. This machismo of the Glory Road to the Cup we can save for the next time. There is literally no Cup winner who people go, oh, they didn't deserve it, they didn't play the hardest possible opponent in every round. Eyes on the prize, people. The prize is the Cup.

I dunno, it's probably because they lost 5 of 8, 3 of 4 and their final two games heading into the playoffs. That's my guess.

Blues have lost 9 of their last 10 games against LA. But JBo and Leo will somehow inexplicably correct this.

Thank you. This isn't a doom and gloom attitude...It's trying to calculate what are the best odds. If the opponent weren't the Kings in a 4/5 matchup, you know we'd want it. But it looks like it might be...And I'd rather see the Blues make the 2nd round.

The Blues made a mistake not getting Lehtonen. Since being healthy, he's been nothing short of studly.

Thank you! I've seen so many post pointing to the momentum the Kings built up after the trade deadline that carried them through the playoffs. That's absurd! Kings went 6-3-2 in April and didn't win more than two in a row during the stretch. What momentum?
