REALLY excited to see where our seats are going to be, usually when my dad gets tickets through his boss we are sitting like row 21 in sec 104, so im hoping ill be as close as i've ever been tonight!

btw, we are 1-0 this year when i attend.
That is awesome! Enjoy the seats and if the Wild lose it's your fault (or something like that).

I'm ready for a Wild win so I have something to be excited about.

3-1 Wild, and we start a mini tail spin for LA that allows San Jose and St. Louis to leapfrog them.

Prediction:

Kings Zarkon's oppressive rule of the universe is finally challenged when the call goes out and Kentucky Koivu pilots the black lion, Bees hops into the red lion, College takes the green lion, Cheese the blue lion, and Kidstrom the yellow lion.

Yeo's on KFAN right now. Second line is going to be:

Clutterbuck - Cullen - Setoguchi

What the **** Yeo. What the ****.

And Falk in for Clark. Otherwise defense is the same.

So lines will be:

Parise - Koivu - Coyle
PMB - Brodziak - Pominville
Clutterbuck - Cullen - Setoguchi
Dowell - Mitchell - Vielleux

I'm...not sure what I expected. I'd rather see Mitchell with Culloguchi over Clutter.

This is the game we find out if there is any pride in this team. The last 3 games are about to become the biggest games of their careers.

Eh... Cullen's won a cup before. For some guys, these next few games are huge, though.

About 8 games too late on Clark.

Mind bogglingly stupid to put Clutter with Cullen. Guh.

Veilleux still on the ice 20 minutes after most teammates. He'll be so wound up, he may fly through the end boards his first shift #mnwild

Pregame reading: Nice article by the Pioneer Press on how the Wild utilize advanced stats.

Thoughts:
1) For as much as we (as a fanbase) aren't all into advanced stats, it's interesting to see the team embrace them as the culture in the league shifts. I always forget that they were one of the first to hire a full-time "guru."
1a) Fletcher is secretive.
2) Part of me wants to see how that Risebrough plan would have blown up.

That's how I feel if I'm honest. Minnesotan sports pessimism is about in full onset, all the symptoms are there.

I'll be at the game tonight, and like I posted in another thread, I think we will know if the "energy" is there from puck drop. I just hope if the team goes down early that the fans won't sit on their hands (more than usual). I know it's the NHL and right now for the most part crowds are "event" and don't do much, but if they can provide a lift, tonight is one of those nights.

Early goal for Minnesota and it'll be cruising I think. I'd like to see Quick shatter his stick in person like I did last time.

WAR WILD!
