I think Ulmer sucks. Id rather give his ice time to Falardeau.

nice job pack. this has got to be a big time disappointment for Ranger management...that the Pack lost in the first round after such a huge season.

I honestly cant be too happy with the way they've played over the past month or so. They've really taken a lot of games off. ESPECIALLY these games in the playoffs.

What a HUGE disappointment after such a promising season. Yes I know the series is not over but im my books it is...doesnt team like half the key players want to play anymore.

This is exactly my concern

Whie it's still feesable that the Pack can win this series, their Achillies Heel has been their inability to score goals.

It's going to prevent them from being legit contenders in the AHL.

Will they post 100 points? yes they can, but it doesn't mean that they have what it takes to get it done when it's imparative that the opposing team is kept to one goal a game cause you can only score 2 yourself.

There's enough pressure in the PO's without having that 500 pound monkey on your back.

Everything has to be perfect and when it's not you can easily find yourself pressing.

Something needs to be done about their scoring woes.

It is disappointing that they might lose but cmon. It's not over yet. They'll have to do it the hard way.

P.S. Balej sucks!

not much you can do about it at this point...

the pack really only have 2 potential top 6 nhl forwards (lundmark and balej), the rest are either ahlers or future role players so it isn't like they are loaded with skill right now...and when 1 of those 2 (balej) doesn't put up a point this is what happens.

yea I dunno why sather picked up another streaky forward when he dealt one away. 0 points in 4 playoff games is not good enough. As of now, if we had one spot left, between Giroux and Balej, Giroux would play with the Rangers not Balej.

Cut Balej some slack. He had a terrible season but he is just 23 years old.Who did you expect Sather to get for Kovalev when the price for unrestricted free agents was a B prospect and a second round pick?

this is kind of why people say you can't rebuild in new york...balej has barely played for the rangers and has only been around 1 year and people are already sick of him and ready to get rid of him, questioning "why did sather get him?"

maybe i should just stop watching hockey...

I guess Labarbera starts...

the next game...McGill went with Valiquette for the third time in a row, losing two. I'd guess some people would start to second guess that move.

Oh, and yes, Balej is 23, but he's also in the AHL (with lots of guys who are younger and less experienced than him) right now and one would expect at least as good of production he had last season in the AHL - that's what progress is about, mostly. Zero points when his team has needed him the most is very disappointing, after a disappointing season.
