Beaulieu fight earlier this week

Nice to see some push back from him. I didn't know he had it in him, especially since he looks like he weighs about 150 lbs.

Did you ever watch him in junior? He's a very good fighter...

Looks at his junior fights. He doesn't face heavywights, but he doesn't really face fairies either. He wins most of them

Holy crap. His hand must've killed, but man. Kid has a fast delivery. I loved that.

You never watched him much in Junior.

He didn't drop them on a regular basis, but when he did he took care of business. Man, I saw him pummel a few the last few years.

Yup, he's been known to hold his own and I can see him doing it with similar sized players down the road with the Habs. Timmins was quite aware of this capacity, even though it's not what he's known for. All the people on the "we need to get tough" charge need to remember that TIME will provide, very inexpensively, part of MB's philosophy.

Here's some of his older junior fights for those that didn't know he could scrap..

AHL

In a few years, with both Tinordi and Beaulieu having more meat on their bones, our defensive corps won't be one to really toy around with, especially if we add another guy that can scrap as well as those guys.

I guess Beaulieu is now Quebecois as he certainly didn't grow up in Strathroy, Ontario.

He's 6'2, skilled, smart, and can fight... That precludes he is from Quebec All kidding aside, I will never forget his facial expression, while in the seats, as we called his name. He knew what he was in for. Kid is a keeper and hope his hand is ok.

He'd wreck Subban easy.

Also, cue the "he's gonna be like B. Orr" comparisons.

Darren Dietz and Dalton Thrower are good fighters, if they make the club we're going to have one nasty defense.

This was one of my personal favorites of the ones I saw in person. Short and sweet, but Milson had it coming to him. Beaulieu got an extra misconduct for removing his helmet and throwing it after the fight lol. This was from 2009 btw.

*******, I didn't know that Beaulieu could fight. Good for us (and him!) if he can. Isn't Luke Adam one tough customer?

Can he throw lefts? Seems like he just goes all out with his right and risks coming into the middle where he could get clocked. I'm sure he knows what he's doing, but a few lessons from Prust wouldn't hurt (no pun intended).

He didnt hurt his hand. He asked to go again with his hand. You hear either Beaulieu or Adam say "again, what again" when they enter the box and it shows Beaulieu do the jester with his hand again meaning again.

His hand wasn't hurt.

On top of the fact he can't speak a lick of French.

His hand wasn't hurt.

That really doesn't mean much..
Hit a helmet at full force ten times in a row, you'll notice that your hand is numbed out. Boxers and MMA Fighters keep fighting through broken hands, it's not a rare occurrence.
You can still point with your index and have some wrist motion, doesn't mean your pinkie isn't broken or wtv.

In any event, we'd likely have heard something by now.
