Eastern Conference Playoff Goalies - #1

We are going to rank the goalies that are in the playoff in the Eastern Conference for RIGHT NOW. Meaning, which goalie would you want in your teams net going into the playoffs that start in less than 1 week. Cap hit, age, potential don't come into play here. Simply who would you rather have backstop your team right now.

No-brainer to vote Lundqvist.

Holtby for me. Lundqvist as never been able to steal a series in the playoffs and usually doesn't play well in the playoffs(last year being the exception)

The caps however are rolling across the board and Holtby has picked up his game substantially as well.

If last year was the exception, wouldn't that be an indication that he has found the ability to play in the playoffs, as opposed to last year just being an anomaly?

How the heck do Tukkuu Rask and Reimer even have a vote? Anyway I'll say Lundqvist but Anderson is extremlly close, he matched him in the playoffs last year.

He's garnering Vezina consideration and has a .927 save % in his career?

He was. He(along with the rest of the Bruins) blew a 3-0 series lead and lost that year. Make of that what you will.

I woundn't say he outdueled Ryan Miller. Just that the Bruins were the far better team. He lost to Michael Leighton/Brian Boucher lol. Did he Rask get outdueled by them?

Hmm I stand corrected, still doesn't explain Reimer though.

Reimer has 2.2% of the votes. I'd save your outrage for another day.

The last guy I saw steal a series was Tim Thomas and he isn't listed. I'll take the guy with the highest probability of doing it in Lundqvist

Guess you missed the Caps vs Bruins series last year. Holtby single handedly won that series.

Really? I only saw him steal game 4, and maybe game 2. This might have been a top seed vs low seed but the series was even throughout

You had credibility after your first sentence... Then it disappeared.
