OT...Basketball?

yeah, can't believe I said that. Just needed to say that I actually watched an entire basketball game (albeit at a bar where the game was not the focus, so I likely missed a bunch). But for once, it was enjoyable. Gotta give it up to those Nets - they actually made, somehow, watching basketball a joy. Shame they couldn't pull it out.

OK, I'm bored out of my mind.

I've gone mad...

I've tried just about everything to keep myself busy - working more hourse, picking up my guitar that only has 5 strings, watching TV. Nothing's worked!

Also been working more hours. Also have a wedding to plan.

Glad the Mets have been fun to watch. Also been watching a fair bit of college baseball on ESPN.

For better or worse... I think the NHL (players and owners) should get used to hearing fans say things like this.

did you not enjoy the game because there was more flow to it than is normal?
Isn't that the same problem the NHL has now that they have decided to become the NHL on ice.

Sbob...

same here...taking the dive the 21st of May.

Agreed Atlanta...although I can still watch an NHL game even in this watered-down, screwed-up officiating league.

Yes, I watched too Fletch. That was a great game! If you like basketball, watch the Phoenix Suns against Memphis. You won't be disappointed.

April 22?

that's a loooong ways away (I'm a last minute guy - as long as you have a place to get married, you got time). I gotta admit that it's been easy for me...my girlfriend's done about everything but pick the song list and band (oh, and make payments! - weddings are freakin' expensive!). I'm on cruise control and my biggest concern is which bars to hit prior to the ceremony and if I have time to ride the Cyclone beforehand. I'm thinking of going there in my tux, which is around the corner from where I'm getting married.

Bluenote...it's only been 8 years for me. I could've gone another 8, but I was in the mood to throw a party (I usually throw one around Memorial Day). Congrats to you and the Mrs.

I wish it were Nathan's...

Love that hot dog with cheese...with the side dog with cheese...and now I think I know what I'm doing for lunch this weekend (it's either that or Spumoni Gardens).

We're actually getting married at the Riviera. Thought about Garguilios, but I know too many people that got married there.

Yeah, those were a little out of my league, ended up having the ceremony in Central park then had the reception at an Italian place in midtown, with a night at the Waldorf, all on the in laws bill

This is mostly on my dime...

in-laws ain't got squat. Spending a wonderful night at the Best Western in Bay Ridge, with scenic views of the Verazzano Bridge. Still trying to figure out why I'm not home that night; it's a five minute extra drive, and it's where my bed's at, and, I've already paid for the house.
