Game 46: Kings vs. Wild - 4/23/13 - Not Enough to Comeback

Didn't have a full effort, but an impressive comeback attempt. It happens, onto the next game...

Well, can't say they deserved it after the effort they put in for most of the game. They get a shot at redemption tomorrow.

Horrible game by the kings. Deserved the loss.

Expect another one tomorrow. 3rd game in 4 nights. Have the kings won one of those yet?

Could be kings and Canucks again in the first round. I blame the sparkling suit.

Well we lose tomorrow at Det and **** gets REAL interesting. Looks like St. Louis has tonight's game. Lets see what happens with San Jose in the next hour and a half.

If they didn't sleep through the 1st and 2nd they might of won. The team looked like a mess.
At least Carter always comes through....paging Kopi's offense.

You think that hour he held the puck that he might of actually aimed higher.

If Slava had gotten that puck an inch or two higher, or fired a split second faster, we'd be in overtime with at least one point.

Really not confident against Detroit. They like toying with the kings. Kings sure like making things interesting.

This game really ticked me off. Coming out flat like that for two periods is not acceptable. They better be ready by the get go tomorrow.

Great effort in the 3rd, not too dissapointed. They could have easily tied it numerous times. Still a bummer though.

Let's go Stars!

Bernier's first loss in a start this season. That second goal cost the kings a point.

Voynov missed a layup and the kings get nothing.

We've lost five of the last six on the road. That has me a little concerned

Go Dallas tonight. A Sharks regulation loss is needed tonight.

Pulling for the Stars to play spoiler and steal two points from the Sharks. Kings only showed up for 20 minutes (and one second, thanks to Carter) and nearly came away with a point. Maybe they'll step up tomorrow and put a damper on Detroit's chances of making the playoffs.

The Wild needed this win.. the Kings couldn't match their desperation. It happens. No need to start freaking out. Wait till the playoffs

Whole team didn't show up, well maybe Carter did.

Team was flat as hell. Kings should be well rested, they used Zero energy this game.

This game really bothered me too, We looked like total crap. Richards was turn over machine just like Williams today. They really messed up their lines today.

He had a bad game, but made a fantastic pass that got the puck on Slava's stick with a half open net with a chance to tie the game. With that said, our road issues have me really concerned

good last 20 by LA but definately need to show up for the fullr 60 tomorrow. Backstrom had the save of the season for the wild on voynov.
in the past whenever other teams say how dirty brown is i use to be able to say how he has never been suspended. I think he crossed the line tonight. Hopefully doesn't miss any playoff games. normally i would think 3 games.

Can't lay the loss at Slava's feet that he couldn't convert in the dying seconds of a game the Kings only decided to start playing like 18 minutes prior.

Kings road record is very disturbing. Maybe Sutter put too much emphasis on home ice this season. Kings have zero energy on the road this season.

Hope the kings locate that playoff switch next week.
