Karlsson was anything but invisible in that period which is great to see.

He does look a bit tentative but he's still creating chances.

Huge play by Silf on the pk.

Not sure how Ottawa plans on winning in the playoffs. They cant cycle the puck at all and they do not have any sort of fore-check. In the playoffs you grind down the other teams defense and Ottawa is one of the worse teams at that. This team really is getting by on goaltending and in the last 15 or so games when all teams are ramping up the effort Ottawa is still coasting along and counting on whoever is in between the pipes.

Disaster. Turris last won a faceoff about 2 months ago. Doesn't Maclean notice things like that???

Its his first game back! Give him time to get up to game speed.

Didn't watch the first, stupid work. I'll judge after the second.

Him and Methot are so far the only ones who stand out. Rest are coasting.

I agree, huge pk by Silf! He isolated Ovechkin.

What's with the Caps and all the after-the-whistle stuff? They're really trying to rattle Turris.

I agree. Matching urgency is not something I see a lot of from this group. Aside from last year vs NY it is not very evident.

Guess they only saw his 2 goal game last time out. if only they watch other tape of him they might not be so worried.

They need some dirty rebound goals. Shots from the outside without going hard to the net have been a problem lately to state the obvious. It would be nice to see some greasy goals. Whenever a team scores some ugly goals it seems that the pretty ones are only a matter of time because it forces the defending team to have to play deeper which opens up the shooting lanes.
