London vs Ottawa - OHL Finals

London vs O-Town - who will win and how many games?

I'm going to say London in 4 or 5.

London in five.

That being said, I think the 67's have a much better chance of beating the Knights in the Memorial Cup than in this playoff series. Battochio and a great offence can beat that powerhouse in a single game situation, but not in a series.

I've thought all season long that there probably isn't anyone in the OHL that can win 4 of 7 games against the knights. However, like you say, in a one game elimination format anything is possible - especially for a team with a hot goalie and great coach.

However, if they're going to play Giant killer in the Mem Cup I'd ask that they first do it against Rimouski and the West (Kelowna I imagine)

Don't do it Gagne..... resist the temptation! They're evil!!

I haven't seen Ottawa enough, especially recently, but I'll say Knights in 5. Killer is going to get at least one game out of the series.

I need your help

I need help guys!!!!! Its my fiancee's birthday on Friday but I have tickets to the Knights game 1 vs Ottawa. Am I being unreasonable by insisting I not sell the tickets and go myself.. I told her its only the 3rd time London's been to the finals and her birthday happens every year And I can celebrate w/ her on Thursday or Saturday, but she insists on being difficult and wants to celebrate on Friday!

What do guys think????? If it was against Guelph or Windsor in the first two rounds I wouldn't care but this is the finals !!!!!!

Oh man. Go to the game, take her out for a late bite to eat and some drinks afterward.

Presto. If only it were that simple...

Go Knights Go!

Gees man haven't you watched 'Fever Pitch'? Assuming your fiance wants to spend time with you on her special day, you should plan your day around HER. I'm SURE you'll be rewarded.

It's Game 1... take the bird out for a good time.

If it was a clincher, on the other hand...

Funny.....

Trahans..... Too bad you didn't think of this much earlier in the season... you could have got her hooked on hockey, and then she'd be as psyched about going to the game on her birthday as you would be. As it stands, I'd say you're left with a VCR.... and have a nice dinner!

Problem is that i've tried taking to to a few games and can't stand watching a game w/ her. Well not just her but any women i've been to a game w/ !!!! Unless they are very knowledgable about the game themselves, they ask a million questions like :

Why is there a red line and 2 blue lines?
Whats the little circles for in the face off area?

ETC ETC ETC

And they always SHHHHHHHHHHHHH'shs me b/c I am tooo loud by yelling

I gotta go to the game guys !!!!! This is the biggest series in London's history and i'm a huge fan, I gotta go !!!!

The only way anyone learns the game of hockey is by watching. I can appreciate that it's difficult to teach her all of the rules, but you have to remember that you once asked all of those same questions at some point in the past.

(By the way, I don't believe Sec17 was being rude at all - "bird" is British for girlfriend)

No, I'm saying that because I'm a hockey fan! If it were my birthday, and my team was playing, I'd be thrilled to be at the game.

I know it's not every year... y'all best enjoy the hell out of it now - who knows when it will come again (that's not a slam against the Knights, it's a fact for every team).
