I know Shero isn't the type of GM that wants to overrule his head coach - and frankly, if a GM feels the need to overrule a head coach on a consistent basis, then there's probably a big problem in that organization.
However, I feel in the case of the Penguins it's different. Shero went all out at the trade deadline to set this team up for a long playoff run. Is Shero really going to allow Bylsma to pound square pegs into round holes and potentially **** the team over?
Some of Bylsma's head scratching decisions. I think the most glaring issue is some of the line combos that clearly don't work - such as Iginla at LW. I also think the lack of using some of the better players on the PK should be called into question. Plenty of teams that have better PKs use their star players on that unit.
Despite my post, I think Dan mostly is a good coach. He can be stubborn though, and that's where I think this year Shero needs to reel him in a bit.
