I love Dupers as much as the next, but he's shown he can play ANYWHERE. He had unreal chemistry w/ Morrow. He looked great last game w/ Geno. The guy is just having that type of year. He doesn't need Sid at this point.

Man, Bob Errey hates Kovalchuk more than any player I've seen. I wonder why, but he always makes that kind of comment about him.

If by starstruck you mean looking at them waiting for them to pass him the puck in the offensive zone, then I agree.

Am I wrong or was it smart for Kovy to actually carry the puck. If he head mans it, it becomes a 1 on 1. He carries it - 2 on 1.

I thought Kovy was right.

Ha. Asides from the fact that he isn't the slightest bit comfortable on the left, I actually find it a little disrespectful to Iggy. He chose us, and we thank him by moving him from the spot that he's had an extraordinary amount of success at for 16 years?

Seriously, it's like Ilya owes him money. Every game against the Devils he just kills him for everything he does. It's like the Devils didn't just completely fall apart once he was out of the line-up.

Life Alert falls down again.

The more I think about Iggy - Malkin - Neal, the angrier I get. Even if Iggy WAS comfortable, those are 3 guys who WANT TO SHOOT. There aren't enough pucks to go around. You're never going to maximize all 3 players ability. It's a horrible idea, and it's going to hurt the team in the long run.

Well I mean, he can pass it, and then continue skating to make it a 2 on 1 anyway

I agree completely. Say what you want about players having to respect the coach's decision, that time has passed. They tried it the last time Malkin was in the lineup and it was godawful. To keep forcing it is just saying that Bylsma thinks he knows better, and that is arrogance, to me.

Bourque is the same......I heard him say that he would never want to play on the same team as him. Said the same as Errey....super selfish....and that "you don't win with guys like him." (I am not saying he is right or wrong...just passing along the info)

He's probably still pissed about how he trolled Sid after scoring that goal a few years ago.

Christ. Iggy out there with Sutter and Kennedy as well. DB looks hell bent on forcing Iggy to the LW.

Didn't the Devils make the Final last year with Kovalchuk playing a large role? Seems like you can probably win with him

Was thinking the same thing, but back then their captain was, Parise.
