Belarus has managed to throw Slovakia off their game. They play tight defensively, Mezin has been outstanding and with Koltsov, Tsyplakov, Kostitsyn and especially Grabovsky they are always able to do some damage in Slovakia's defensive zone...

Now a powerplay for Belarus.

As impressive Belarus' game is, i hope Slovakia wins this one, otherwise austria would have a hard time avoiding the relegation round.

1 minute left, Belarus with a powerplay.

good chance, i think it was tsyplakov, but Lasak saves. Mezin will leave the net soon.

Andrei Mezin is the reason why. He makes 50 saves in the game, only to lose.

What a performance

Yeah I know Canada didn't deserve to win their game.

We should have had a penalty shot at the start of the 2nd as Palffy was on the break away. Mezin tried the pokecheck but totally missed and even didnt hit the puck (was way off). A clear penaly shot.
