Most snipers are better on the off wing, it is an advantage to have players that are capable of playing on the off wing. Between the way DeBoer handles Kovalchuk and the horrible lineups (Larsson in and out every game) should put Pete on the hot seat.

Radulov and Kovalchuk share the same North American agent, Jay Grossman*. But we're just having fun guys, let's get real, ain't gonna happen.

Ps: Les Grossman is his older brother

I like Pete, but him being thick like that infuriates me. The way he handles Larsson too. That's why I have no trust in us drafting an NHL ready forward. If we do he'll likely be on the 4th line, or even a healthy scratch. While Suckchenkov can turn the puck over 10 times a game, and is given a pay on the back.

Nice defense Russia. They just let Stastny whack away at Bryz.
We make you with trade, we put Volchenkov from us, you has us Radulov, is good deal, ok?

Exactly, hell even giving Salvador the "C" makes me wonder... I get the great locker room B.S. but a Captain needs to be able to lead by example on and off the ice. Salvador clearly cannot lead on the ice.

Gio looks even better on the bigger ice. using his size and speed to play a more slippery game.

I'm really loving this USA goalie John Gibson. Much more athletic than Ben beauty rest blimp.

That is an absurd upset. I'm sure the Russians are pretty embarrassed about it.

I know I'm late to the party... but the duo of Matt Duchene and Jordan Eberle is just unreal. Both guys are just finding each other on the ice like there's no one else around them.

Damn you ZBC, now I want Eberle on our team !!!!!

Finland-Russia now. Finland is playing at home and Russia must expunge yesterday's affront.

Big game expected.

What channel is this on? I'm at home sick again.

Or are you guys watching this on an online stream? It isn't on NBC Sports, or NHL either.

Love seeing this Kovy. Everyone on the team looks dejected and he is going around trying to pump them up on the bench or ice
