I can't wait to see how he fares. It's unfair to expect much, but he has two good forwards on his line to help him out in his NHL debut.

this will be interesting. LeBlanc will make it, I hope. Could be the next good find for Bowman

Rooting for him, would be great to see him turn in a great game and possibly lead to a solution at 2C.

He can't play in the playoffs, right?

Will be interesting to see how he does.

This is what playoff stories are made out of. I mean I don't if hell play in the playoffs but Roenick made his name in the playoffs before he really played reg season games. c'mon Drew I the specs on him are his hands and vision are spectacular.

It'll be fun to watch him. At least he's playing with some studs, but by the 3rd he'll be centering Bollig.

This is unfair to Pirri who busted his ass all year for Rockford

Guess he's not in the plans though

From my understanding, no.

He wasn't on the exemption list at the trading deadline so he can't play

But I could be wrong

Yeah, no kidding, the all important Ice Hogs are done so there is no more excuse. It's clear he is a gonner despite winning the AHL scoring title at the position of greatest need.

He is not eligible for the playoffs. You can sign after the trade deadline and play, as long as you are on your team's reserve list, which he was not, because he was not the Hawks draft property.

He should get these last 3 games as a test drive before he signs a new contract as RFA this summer. His reputation is as a playmaking center, so hopefully he fits right in.

Since he can't play, this is really a dumb move. Pirri should be the one.

For those who are anxious about Pirri, he'll be called up when the season ends and the Hawks set their playoff roster. LeBlanc can't play in the playoffs, but Pirri can. Pirri will get his chance.

So we want to introduce players in the playoffs rather than priming them in the last games before? As someone said yesterday, that is an asinine idea.

Agreed... Pirri won't be, and he shouldn't be happy.

And wtf .... LeBlanc is not eligible for the post season. There ia ample time to give this kid a chance to see what he can do (NEXT SEASON). You gotta really wonder about these decisions.

Pirri is a +11 despite 75 points.

It's a 2 way game, call me when he figures that out.

I think it means Pirri will not get called up. Why not play him now if he might be needed in the playoffs?

It gives LeBlanc an opportunity to show some of his game before he becomes an RFA this summer. If he looks like he belongs, it will give him some bargaining power. Pirri will have a chance to put his name on the Cup this year, but LeBlanc will not. I hardly see how Pirri is being shortchanged here.

The good news about these two players is that in all likelihood, Dave Bolland is expendable. We have more capable centers than we have roster spots for.
