I like the defensive side of Yeo's system. There's just too much grinding. We see rarely creative plays and that has got to do something with the system.

I'm kinda 50/50 to have him gone or not.

How about bringing in Dale Hunter? He doesn't have any Russians to deal with

How can start your 4th line in a must win game knowing a fight would just ignite the opposing team that have nothing to play for, meanwhile, the Wild are in a must win. He shouldve thrown his first line out there and just attack instead of playing to the Oilers hands.

Etc etc...

Im just glad he was finally put to question by the national media. Gets people thinking.

Konopka and Brown have a history of fights. How did the 1st line do against that 4th line 2 seconds later? Gave the Oilers a 1-0 lead.

It amazes me how Yeo can be blamed for everything wrong with this team. Not the ~20 players who have failed to meet expectations this season.

Not sure how much Yeo runs the PP. That's more Sydor's responsibility.

Seems to work well for the team that won a Stanley Cup running it.

LOL Yeo's system turns everybody into grinders. The Penguins' system is suited for the Eastern Conference and Yeo's system is obviously quite a bit different.

Bahahaha! Now we fired Richards too early? After everyone was calling for his head. You people make me laugh. Completely neurotic.

You People? No need to be racist. For the record, I never wanted Richards fired. He never had a lot of talent to work with.

What the Wild need is a coach that works with the type of players we have. A coach with a style the meshes. No players having to mesh with the coach. The type of players we have now is like oil and water the way Yeo wants to play. We do not have a team loaded with grinders.

A coach that utilizes the talent we have would be nice. Maybe one that can adapt to game conditions. Yeo's style works somewhat when we have a lead but is an epic fail without one.

LOL In 5 hours from now Richards may have coached a far less talented team into the playoffs with the Wild on the outside looking in.

Sorry Kfan. I think you forgot, The Jackets have Marian Gaborik. He alone will put the team on his back and take them to the promised land.

Who get's the axe if we lose tonight ?

Renaud Lavioe, a good source for French station RDS says that big changes are to some teams who don't make the playoffs...

If we lose tonight, am I alone in thinking there's a house cleaning ?

Columbus went into San Jose, Anaheim and beat them we lose home games to Calgary and Edmonton with the Playoffs on the line. I want the Wild to get in but just saying Columbus probably deserves it more down the stretch

Well to his credit, he was a monster during the '03 playoffs.

Sigh...memories...

I agree. Columbus deserves the playoffs a lot more than we do, assuming we win tonight.

Columbus is doing what teams are supposed to do when your fighting for a playoff spot. Win big games. Now we have the Wild. Nothing like waiting til the last second to try and secure a spot against the worst team in the league.

As a homer of course I want the Wild in. Columbus deserves the 8 spot more. They have shown more character and more of a want than the Wild have. The Wild think cause they played well for a decent stretch a spot should be handed to them. They might just find out the hard way that is not how it works.

The only consolation for me if the Wild lose tonight and miss the playoffs is that Yeo is done. That is a given, and that will bode well for the Wild long term having him gone.
