So does the move to the ACC mean I get to watch Pitt lose to good football teams a few times a month rather than watching them lose to mediocre football teams a few times a year when they were in the Big East? (In other words, will Pitt games be regularly televised now that they're in the ACC?)

They were pretty regularly televised before.

I saw Pitt televised here in LA 6 times last year...but yeah, it'll probably go up a bit playing Florida State instead of South Florida.

On that note, South Florida lost 53-21 to McNeese State

I saw several FSU fans at various restaurants this weekend.

I have not been watching the game, but judging from running into so many of their fans, I am guessing that they have quite a few there at Heinz Field.

Can somebody give me any insight on whether this jersey looks legit or not? The nameplate looks off compared to others I have seen on other jerseys from the time period, but I have also seen variations on the Lemieux's on ebay for several hundreds (the M's).

Doesn't look like anyone taught Pitt's defense how to tackle.

Peyton Manning tying an NFL record with 7 TD passes in a regular season game. Can we expect 7 INTs in his first postseason game this year?

In all seriousness, the guy makes all the throws except the ones he needs to make in the big games. If he doesn't win another super bowl, he has to go down as quite possibly the biggest underachiever in the NFL.

I love that his little brother has more rings than he does

people in this board's fantasy football league might get a kick out of hearing who that other record-holder is:

Spoil:
Y. A. Tittle

lets hear some fantasy football sleepers. Who do you guys think will have a good season that not many people are talking about?

If I had to pick one, I'd go with Alshon Jeffery for Chicago. I think he's gonna really surprise people this year.

There are people who absolutely can't stand the fact that Ben has more rings than Peyton does.

A Super Bowl ring is earned by a team. Dennis Dixon has two of them. If you want to compare individual accomplishments, Peyton has 5 MVP awards (4 regular season, 1 Super Bowl), Ben has zero (0).

Not really. I hate every non-Steeler team and non-Steeler player. You are just recycling Mark Madden talking points, as usual.

Well if I am, that's better than recycling typical fantasy football gibberish or the typical "blame it all on Ben!" stuff that you do.

I've never played a fantasy sport in my life, but your general sentiment here is probably correct.

After the Steelers made their final roster cuts, head coach Mike Tomlin promptly unfollowed them on Twitter.

Yeah, Mike Tomlin unfollowing all the guys he cut is funny but it's also expected. He joined twitter in July or so and I bet anything he only joined and followed his players to make sure they don't post anything stupid on their twitter.
