It amazes me that the Jays front office thinks this guy is a viable starting catcher.

Story of this POS season.... selfish homerun cuts leading to unproductive outs with RISP. Unbelievable.

Gotta love it when your heart of the order can't even advance a runner with none out

Me too. I feel like a ****ing curse but then realize this team is just ****ing garbage. It sucks that I wish the off season never happened and we still had that stockpile of prospects. I really feel bad for aa. He went all in on what appears to be a bad hand.

Well that would be 162 HR, 162 R, and 162 RBI (for sure), so yes. I'd have him bat behind Reyes though to hopefully maximize the production.

They don't play any fundamental baseball.. And they are laughing and joking it up on the bench.. No big deal..

Gibbys days are numbered

Make it 2 walks and 37 strikeouts. Maybe he will set some sort of record for the worst plate discipline ever.

It amazes me that everyone of our broadcasters can keep saying it doesn't matter that he strikes out that much because he's a catcher. It's brutal

He is sort of serviceable but as you can tell, I'm not a fan of him at all. I kinda like guys that can put up better than a .270 OBP.

Not that this would be a universally accepted decision nor would JP like it but Thole and JPA should platoon. Thole can hit RHP and brings better defense and JP can mash those lefties.

I don't know that this can all fall on Gibby but he's gonna need to do something to get these guys to wake up and quickly. Everything with this team is off.

Another solo hr woohoo

His offense is somewhat serviceable, but the defense is just atrocious, and a catchers most important duty is behind the plate.

Man, I would not want to be on the receiving end of a Brett Lawrie high five after he hits a HR
