I wanted Detroit. I felt (and still feel) that they were the best first round match up for us. I gave us 50-50 to beat them.

They are the best team to get you into playoff mode, especially for the Ducks. Gotta win though.

To me, this will be one of the most disappointing series losses if the Ducks do not come through tomorrow. Sure, the one in 2009 sucked, but going into the playoffs I didn't think much of our team. We just have not been a favourite and been just a better team then the opposition since 2007. This Ducks team is much better up and down the roster then Detroit. Goaltending is debatable, but I feel Hiller's best performance is higher than Howard's. This team has a fundamental flaw in that it can not play with a sense of desperation until its too late. It's the playoffs; every five minute increment is just as big as the last 5 minute increment of the game. I always thought it was because we had a stacked roster in 2007, 2008, and arguably in 2009 that the team just knew that they would find a way back into the game. All of the comebacks in 2010 didn't help either. It fostered a culture that does not breed desperation. It's good that the guys are calm and don't panic, but tomorrow is a time to not think and just play off of instinct. Hard, fast, aggressive hockey. Please figure it the **** out tomorrow Ducks. Don't embarrass us with your effort level.

Good post. If we don't win this series I and the rest of the Ducks fans will be disappointed.

Zetterberg stepped it up for the Wings potting 2 goals.. Hopefully Perry gets a earful and realizes that it's now his time to shine in game 7! I'm liking what we were offering at the end of the game. Perry chirping the Red Wings bench... Vintage Perry! We will win this game by a large margin. We were finally able to cycle the puck

I was expecting a brawl at the end of the game right before they scored twice to tie it up.
