not good that Blanchard will miss some time. Long and Mills will end up as starters this season

2 Rookies, that's how bad our line REALLY was this past few years

In fairness, they look to be two very solid rookies.

true, but it still tells alot about our bad OL these past years including bad coaching.

2 Rookies and 2 Free Agents to start on our OL
Just haven't had enough Cap Space and Draft picks to get the new OCenter too

The Chicago Bears plan to add another quarterback to the roster in the coming days after losing third-stringer Matt Blanchard for an unspecified period when he fractured a knuckle on his left hand Thursday during the club's 33-28 preseason win over the San Diego Chargers. Matt Blanchard fractured a knuckle on his left hand in the third quarter. Blanchard suffered the injury when he was sacked with 8:03 left in the third quarter for a 10-yard loss by Jarius Wynn.

"I'm not sure about the time that he'll be out, but we're sitting here with two quarterbacks going into next week," Bears coach Marc Trestman said. "Certainly that's something that we're gonna have to repair fairly quickly to get a third quarterback on the roster."

Former Oakland Raiders No. 1 overall pick Jamarcus Russell worked out for the Bears in June, and drew positive reviews from those in attendance, who raved about the quarterback's arm strength. The club also worked out Trent Edwards and Jordan Palmer...

Until Blanchard comes back we may not have the best 3rd QB in the league.

Mr. Boom Bostic, what a hit. O-line looked good too, Emery had an excellent draft.

Was just going to say that the 2012 draft was dissapointing, but the 2013 draft looks like it may produce 3 starters and all 6 players may make the team.

Probably not this year unless there are injuries. But he'll certainly be a top reserve.

I like him a lot, much like Bostic, plays really hard and packs a punch.

Mills should start IMO. I really don't care what they do with Webb.

Webb isn't going to make the team if everyone stays healthy.

So long Urlacher, don't let the door hit you on your way out.

Bostic is 2 or 3 times the player Urlacher was on the field last year. Now, it's just a question of the leadership factor, but Briggs should help with that and apparently Bostic is picking things up.
