what else have you expected?

Bostic will see the field too, dont worry about that.

Cutler & Garza will be the O captains
Briggs & Peppers the D captains
Mannelly will be the ST captain

Why are the media acting like the Bengals are the second coming of the 2007 Patriots? People giving the Bears little chance and I'm not sure why. Reminds me of last year vs the Falcons to start the year

Inspired by Bennett's team spirit of taking a $1 million paycut http://espn.go.com/blog/chicago/bear...illion-pay-cut , the Bear's D is possessed by the spirits of Butkus and Singletary and Bostic's first play of the game he goes all Road House on Dalton sacking him out of the game. Bears 28 Bengals 27. The Irish beat the Wolverines by the same score.

Not gonna lie, I thought we had zero chance vs the Falcons last year.

Right, on the 10 year anniversary of 9/11. Hence the anthem craziness

Bengals left tackle is out. Wooten, Peppers, and McCellin have to get after it on Sunday.

I love it, Bears getting no love anywhere, every radio show, magazine, TV show, expert, etc. I have yet to see anyone have the Bears finishing above 8-8.

I can't wait for this team to shut all the haters up.

I can't recall the Bears ever being picked to win 10 games in my lifetime and I'm not sure about 9 either. Usually 7-9 or worse. So if people are picking 8-8 for the most part, they'll probably win 12.

I'm saying 8-8 for the Bears.

1. Green Bay (10-6)
2. Chicago (8-8)
3. Minnesota (7-9)
4. Detroit (6-10)

I also think the only NFC North team that wins Sunday is Minnesota.

What Culk said. What has changed other than coaching that this team is going to blow it up. I think they might be worse, no way they are getting that many TD's from their defense.

For real?

- Coaching staff
- Offensive System (this is a huge improvement over 2012)
- Blocking Scheme (see above)
- 4 Offensive Line Positions
- Blocking and Pass Catching TE
- A WR2 who looks to take a big step forward in his 2nd year
- Actually using Matt Forte
- A MLB who isn't hampered by an injury and a fraction of his former self
- Wooten continually improving ready to take another step forward
- More depth at D-Line than we have had in a long time
- Hester playing Special Teams only

And that's all that I can come up with off the top of my head. Look a lot of these things might not work out. But there's every reason to believe that improvements can and will be made and that the team will be better in a LOT of ways. If you think they will crash an burn, then that's just because you are a pessimist (not a realist). I don't think they go 12-4 either. But this team SHOULD make improvements, and the schedule isn't as bad as it looks.

Also, the Packers took a few steps backwards this off-season. Look for them to struggle this year (1-2 or 0-3 by their bye week). Our division is up for grabs and we have as good of a chance as any of them to take it.

Certainly a possibility. I think:

1. Bears (10-6)
2. Packers (10-6)
3. Vikings (9-7)
4. Lions (7-9)

I picked the Broncos to lose to the 49ers in the SB before the game, but no one will believe me. In my ppr league though I think Wilson will score more points than Kap which is why I traded Kap for Dez Bryant.

Think the Vikes take the biggest step back. AP isn't doing 2000 yards again. A 1700 yard season last year and they are probably 8-8

Other areas have improved though. I like the team a lot minus Ponder, but he is still at least ok and Jennings should help a lot this year.

yea I don't like their chances much. No faith in ponder and I think AP is going to fall back down to earth.

There were far more changes to the Bears than there were to the Blackhawks before last year, and those results changed dramatically..

So, when should I get to Soldier Field tomorrow? I haven't been to a game since I was little.
