The hit itself wasn't that damaging, but he fell face first into the ice. He broke his nose, at the very least.

Shades of Kevin Stevens 1993 playoffs.

Adam Oates looks like a character from a 1930s noir gangster movie.

I want one of the lower seeds to win so we can avoid BOS in the 2nd round.

Rooting for the Rags to score is ****ing painful to watch.

The name Gryba sticks out for me...was he the one that reinjured Malkin's shoulder?

Edit: nevermind - he was the puke who took the interference call on Cooke in the opening minutes

Don't even know who to root for in the Caps / Rags game. Hate both teams, and feel we'd have a better shot against the Caps, but eliminating the Rags again would be sweet.

lol NYR is collapsing

They are super offensively challenged. And now the Caps are up to 3, scoring 4 seems like an impossible task for the Rags. I think I have to root for the Rags in this series if for no other reason than that it irks me that the Caps got gifted home ice advantage and I have to hear all of those ****** sirens. Plus Caps fans are back up on their pedestals looking down at everyone else, as if their team was anything other than mediocre this season.

He certainly has a very distinctive mug. Doesn't have the coach look quite yet.

Next round I want

3. Caps vs 4 . Bruins.

1. Pens vs 7. Senators.

Have a feeling all the top seeds will win though and we get bruins next round. Long ways to go..who knows

if the Rangers can't contain the Caps offense this is going to be a quick series.

Something about the Capitals absolutely infuriates me. I don't know exactly what it is, but somehow, they don't feel like a real team to me at all. Just a collection of fratboy D-bags.

i really dont think i could be a rags fan. it must be awful when you have to win 2-1 games because your team cant score.

Ottawa has 3 fierce hitters you have to watch out for, Neil, Cowan, and Gryba. You gotta know when those guys are on the ice, especially #2 and #62 stepping up in the neutral zone. The inexperienced Diaz set up his teammate there with a terrible decision. Hopefully, Eller's wounds are superficial.
