While I understand the criticism of splitting Roy-Higgins up, Kesler-Higgins has shown chemistry too, and the Sharks aren't a fast team and a line of Raymond-Roy-Hansen can gel, they should cause a lot of trouble for the Sharks.

for the most part Sj got a little bit faster better coheisive with their little trades...

clowe, murray and handzus(in and out of their lineup) out ..............hannon torres in

on the other hand we add kesler, Roy, and Bieksa(missed 2/3 sj gms) miss Tanev

thats a huge diffrence right there....

so for us its chemistry and cohesiviness with the added players...really havnt played as a full team much this season or down the road.

the other big factor is that in FO...you get kesler nback in which will help rather than have raymond, ebbett,Burrows or schreoder take too many FO's vs sharks
Henrik was fairly even in his FO's vs sharks

I like our chances vs the sharks.....really need to stay out of the box too.

Derek Roy was just on Sportsnet at noon with Kypreos and MacLean. Very motivated, wants to have a significant impact.

Only 2 goalies at #Canucks practice today. No sign of Cannata. Must mean CS on road to recovery
I hope that means he's healthy.

Good to hear. Derek Roy is the type of player that we have desperately needed on this team. I can't wait for him to kick some ass out there. He's as close to a Patrick Kane type of player that we are going to get. If we get to the WCF and face the Hawks, I think he will be a huge part of our success. You just know he's going to have some slick dangles for the home-ice crowd.

I really don't think some users (especially those that haven't watched the Canucks this season) have seen how completely different this team performs with both Kesler and Roy added to the regular lineup. It's like night and day. Adding Roy to the team really gave this team a huge spark. They believe in themselves again.

After 2 days of practice and his injury being thought of as "not serious" by many in the organization, I can't see Schneider not starting tomorrow.

Just hoping his game is where it needs to be after a bit of a layoff between games.

Hey guys,

I have an idea for a lineup that hasnt been tried yet.

Sedin Sedin Kassian (lets see Thornton troll the twins with Kass on their wing)
Raymond Roy Kesler (the 3 best offensive guys not named Sedin, maybe switch Roy and Kes depending on sides)
Higgins Burrows Hansen (shut down line. All 3 guys have grit. Also, Burrows is a smart player, i recall he wasnt bad when tried at C.

I think that this allows the Canucks to leave Roy and Kes together and at the same time Burrows at C with Hansen for a solid checking line that wont be pinned in its own end.

Thoughts?

Schroeder recalled. But so is Lack. Doesn't necessary mean he's able to play.

burrows is more of an offensive player then raymond or roy. not to mention he plays well with kesler. you need a center to take faceoffs on the third line specially if its supposed do the shut down work. imo

Derek Roy has incredible offensive skill. Burrows is an incredible fit with the Sedins, but he's not as offensively gifted as Roy. Raymond seems to have disappeared without Schroeder.

Along with Lain, Andersson, Vandermeer, and Mallet. And officially Jensen and Archibald.

I don't think it's bad, but the way I see it,
if you're going to play Kassian with the Sedins, it'd be stupid not to go with

Sedin - Sedin - Kassian
Burrows - Kesler - Hansen
Higgins - Roy - Raymond
Ballard - Lapierre - Weise

Dynamite chemistry everywhere, a shutdown line that would outscore the opposition, and three legitimate scoring lines.
