Sedin - Sedin - Kassian

Higgins - Roy - Raymond
Ballard - Lapierre - Weise

Dynamite chemistry everywhere, a shutdown line that would outscore the opposition, and three legitimate scoring lines.
like the looks of that. I'd be willing to swap hansen higgins and raymond around. raymond is good with kessler and burrows. raymond is a better finisher for the 2nd line then hansen imo so you could just flip those two. or hansen roy raymond give roy lots of speed on the wings to setup/dish to.

How about trying out

Sedins-Burrows
Raymond-Kesler-Hansen
Higgins-Roy-Kassian
Pinno-Lapierre-Weise (Rotate 4th liners)

The Roy and Higgins combo is left alone, and I think if Kassian gets into some space, combined with Higgins forecheck and Roys vision, he could do well. When needed, we could swap Higgins with Hansen to give Kes a boost to get the 2nd line going if it falters

I don't see Higgins with Roy and Raymond supplying good enough secondary offense..especially with Raymond on his wrong side.
Raymond Kesler Roy is the perfect secondary scoring with some grit.

What about a top 6 of:

Sedin - Sedin - Kassian
Burrows - Roy - Kesler

Kesler had some great days on the wing in seasons past.

Can you imagine if Kane grows out his mullet and we meet in the 3rd round? Those 2 will be hilarious.

If Schroeder is ready to go it makes sense.

Yep, but the Pittsburgh game should be done before the Canucks game unless it goes into overtime.

There's a reason why they bumped up the starting time from 7pm to 7:30pm, they wanted to give ample time for the Pens game to finish.

I know I'm an idiot for not jumping on the 16-wins-in-a-row-for-the- Pens wagon (I guess I watched last year's playoffs) but overtime is a good possibility. I assume TSN2 will be used.

I simulated the series in video game, and it went down like this: Canucks win the first 2 games, lose game 3, win game 4, win game 5 3-2 in overtime, with bieksa scoring the winner.

Not even joking.

Roy on his Hockeycentral interview said his wingers are Raymond and Hansen.

Says the Canucks are using S-K-R-L down the middle because SJ has good C depth.

Why do you Canucks fans think Schroeder is such a good option for this series? Because he's fast? Kid's gonna get manhandled out there and I could totally see him shying away from the boards.

Ya I was just curious about his status, I don't actually think he should be playing. He'd get outmatched as our 3C and there are several players I'd rather have playing 4C over him (including Ebbett)
