Hello

Just wanted to introduce myself here...

I'm from Pawtucket, Rhode Island and you all know there's no major sports teams here. I just got into hockey this past season and the first game I saw on TV was a Blue Jackets game (forgot the opponent) and they won, so I decided to follow the team.

I just came across this site a few days ago and it looks like a good site for me to talk with other fans and learn more about this sport. Like I said, I just got into hockey after the lockout so be patient with me!

Good evening to join... nothing is going on in the NHL today...

We have two great conference series finals beginning soon.. And a summer of CBJ draft picks, trades and free agent signings on the horizon...

Welcome

Is it me your looking for?

P.S. I did a summer internship at the ProJo back in the day (when working for a newspaper was a big deal) and used to live in Cranston.

Welcome. Interesting way to pick a team. lol

Born in Newport RI. Father served aboard the CA-148 USS-Newport News

Back when I was in RI in the late 90's developing some retail PoS systems, I really enjoyed the Italian restaurants available. Destroyed what we have in Ohio. Are they still that good?

Welcome to the board. You picked an exciting time to start following the Jackets. You haven't dealt with the agony most of us have. The future is bright.
