I'd guess that cap hit would be > qualifying offer. 800K for Desi and 1 mil for Shep?

Good news on both counts...I'd imagine there's several more 'signing announcements' coming during the next week.

This is good news.

Next up: TJ, Demers, Stalock...Gomez?

Why do I have a feeling that one (or both) of #21/#5 might not be Sharks come Monday morning...

Nice. I like what Dejardins brings to the team. Sheppard will have one of his best years.

Maybe Demers knows that his contract is in the works. I'm sure he knows more about what's going on behind the scenes than the average fan..

I'm perfectly fine with retaining these two, but I still hope DW brings in some help for the bottom 6 along with whatever else he's doing. Line 4 was ineffective at best last year.

Can't say it was all on Burish, either, since I don't remember them being much better when he was sitting.

Figured this would happen, good deal. Hopefully Sheppard has a much better season after a good camp and better line-mates.

Oh for sure. I am sure he would not make a tweet like that unless something was close to being done. I just thought it was funny because officially he is still not signed.

Was hoping to see some other names first, but good to have these two re-signed

These two were probably 'easy' deals to get done w/ both players possibly signing for less then what their QO's would've been.

Galiardi & Demers are going to be more difficult based on what they're QO's will have to be and what they / they're agents think they're worth.

Good. These two make up two-thirds of a solid 4th line. I like Desy when he doesn't have to play on Pavelski's third line.

Doug Wilson suggests #sjsharks could have more re-signings to announce by the weekend.

YAyyyyyyyyyyy. Stalock for one is my guess. Galiardi/Demers. Longshot odds on Pavelski extension, but one can hope!!

Good. Desjardins is an excellent 4th liner that provides toughness. Sheppard is a pretty skilled 3rd liner playing on the 4th line.

Both of these players helped our forward depth immensely. Now we need to re-sign Demers.

no way, he scored 1 goal in 43 games

i think he's more of a 13th forward

Both are 4th liners. Sheppard-Desi-Burish isn't an awful 4th line.
