Marcus Foligno Play of the Year

Marcus' sick goal against the Rangers is up for "Goal of the Year" on tsn's home page www.tsn.ca/nhl.

Vote for him if you like it.....

I voted for Boyle. That wasn't even a close call.

I think Hodgson's goal against the Hurricanes was better than both of these goals truthfully.

Boyle's goal was roughly 39.4% more awesome.

I liked Foligno's more......Boyle had a ton of real estate, and really just did a deak on one guy. The speed that Foligno pulled off with that move, in the tight quarters and pressure he was under, stands out to me.

........plus, I'm a homer.

I'm a homer too because I voted for Foligno, but Boyle's goal was better. Foligno's move was nice but the puck came to him and was into the open side of the net.

Boyle went coast to coast and had to deke a defender and the goaltender to score.

RE: Boyle's goal. Very nice. For you youngsters, Gil Perreault used to do that several times a season, throughout his career. Coast to coast and score. And he usually deked 2 or 3 skaters, not just 1.
