Terrible amount of schadenfreude in these playoffs for me.

Love it.

Me too! If the Islanders don't come back in the series and stop the Pens, someone else better do it so I can continue to revel in others' pain! Go Boston!

I am quite pleased the Habs have been eliminated. Players like Subban deserve it for the classless goons they are - nice punch to the face there, wasn't it?

I know there were injury issues but when a coach gets rattled and loses his focus the players do the same. All the interviews I saw from the coach and players was whining and complaining.

All I heard was the refs were bad ..... we were disrespected ..... we were insulted ..... time outs ..... calling a player by his number ..... yada ..... yada ..... yada ...... not to mention the fans were crying conspiracy .....

I thought that was disrespectful to the history and traditions of the Canadiens.

God damn I had to work through the Sens Habs game, it looked like a real beat-down... 6-1 final. Glad to see the Sens make it through the first round, I'll be cheering for them to win the Cup this year.

Paul Maclean did an absolute masterful job in this series. Out coached Therien by a country mile and completely threw the entire Habs team of their game!

I quite like the Habs fans....always find them very respectful at the MTS centre and adult like. they have allot of passion in their rink and are an iconic franchise. Hard for me to type these words because I lived to hate the Habs until about 1984. they always had class and style though and I truely loved hating them when they were so great for all those years.

On balance I was probably cheering for the Sens though aince i have a soft spot for Ottawa....Maclean really badly out coached Therrien and rattled him early and seemed to actually have fun with the gamesmanship while keeping his team laser focused. Murray and Maclean have done a masterful job reloading and reshaping the Sens franchise and I can't say enough good things about them.

Edit: ok Surixon we seem to kind of agree on Maclean (ok everyone say it together "masterful")

So how long till Tavares is considered the 5th person in the NHL top 5 (superstars)?

He really needs to be on the Olympic team.

The front page of the Winnipeg Sun's sports section suggests that Ottawa is now Canada's team, as it is the only team still realistically in it. To that, I say a profound "**** no." I don't have time for your nationalistic bull, Sun media.

It is pro sports, nationalism does not exist. I hate the rest of the Canadian teams in NHL.
