They tried to sell this BS the last time they ,are it to the finals.

I didn't buy it that time either.

I'll cheer for the Sens as Canada's team, but I highly doubt they get past the new energized Pens. It'll be a damn good series, though.

Hope it will be a good one as well. The Sens are going to have to bring a very physical game to shut down Malkin. As for Crosby..........kid is a beast, I dont know if Ottawa will have an answer unless Anderson can convert from Beast mode into God mode

Nazem Kadri's Playoffs, Welcome back to earth

Usage:
RelQoC: -3.891
OZS%: 50%

Nazem is being SUPER sheltered here. He's being protected more than Noel hid the Stapler. His OZS% doesn't seem like he's being pushed into the o-zone, until you realize that TOR is being so dominated that they aren't getting much OZS at all. Kadri's is actually the 4th highest on his team.

Results:
Corsi On: -14.08
RelCorsi: -2.2
(SF-SA)/60: -2.8

P/60: 1.41
On-Ice SH%: 7.14
PDO: 1005

When Kadri is on the ice, Boston gets just over 14 shot attempts more than Toronto in 60 minutes (similar to GST last season against tough match ups). While being matched predominately against Boston's weakest players, this is still 2.2 shots worse than TML's average. The end result is Boston's 4th line is outshooting Kadri.

Kadri is actually carrying a normal On-Ice SH% and a normal PDO, so although the sample size is really small we can extrapolate that this 1.41 5v5 P/60 is actually more telling than Kadri's regular season 3.21 (from a ridiculous >14% On-Ice SH%). To compare this is not too much different of output as Slater in 2011-12.

Meanwhile Grabo's (SF-SA)/60 is +11.8, 2nd best team Corsi/RelCorsi with a super high RelQoC and super low OZS%.

Man, I hate Toronto. I was really hoping the Bruins would kill them off tonight and send them packing to the links

Not over yet. Nice goal by Chara pulls Boston to within 1 with about 8 minutes left. I don't think that Boston has left the Leaf's zone for the last 5 minutes. They're really putting the pressure on.

Well, the only other team I care about is the Islanders. After that I'm done watching.

Had a few Blues in my playoff pool. What was I thinking? Was looking ok and 'guru-like' after first two games, but then...

Oh well. Better team won.
