I am in the same boat. Went with the "ex" for the playoffs. After they are out I will have very minimal interest.

Good that the Sharks got a break. If the Kings had scored on that botched icing call near the end of the 3rd I would've lost it.

Quick got an ejection for abuse of an official after the goal was scored.

Interesting to see where it goes, but doubt anything comes from it.

I take my statement back. I cant stand Letang so I can't support the pens in the later rounds if they win.

I've never been able to fully support "rental" players in their cup runs.
Especially when the player has requested the trade.

Yea even the Ray Bourque Trade to Colorado felt weird......lord knows both guys deserve their shot and gave it all to their original clubs but it does feel a bit different to me as well. Either way I would still be happy for Iggy like I was for Ray because you would be hard pressed to find better qaulity people. still not cheering for Pitt yet though

Ray Bourque hoisting the cup is the single greatest sports clip ever filmed.

Agreed. I hate the Bruins with a passion so it looked and felt right to me.

Jets fans want Chicago to lose this series, we'd pick #56 and #87(excluding non-jets compensation picks or Devils losing theirs). If they win the series, it's anywhere from #58-#60.

Is it just me, or was he constantly 5 seconds or more behind in calling the play. He almost missed a couple goals!

He's doing pretty well for an 80-year-old.

Fun fact: Bob Cole was 34 when the Leafs last won the Cup.

"Doing pretty well for a 80 year old" is a okay comment for someone playing golf or having a bowel movement.

It is not okay for PBP on a national broadcast.

I'd rather have someone that can actually do the job.

I actually stopped watching the series because he was so bad.

I was just saying that hockey is a pretty fast game for an octogenarian to call - it's no surprise he's behind the play. As Dennis Miller once said: "My grandfather is 75 and we won't even let him use the remote control!"

I agree that it's ridiculous and that CBC should have some more talent in the stable. It really it drops off the cliff after Jim Hughson.

When Bob Cole gets excited, I get excited. He is irreplaceable and everybody else sucks compared to him. I feel bad for you kids that didn't get to hear him 10, 20 years ago.

I did listen to him 20 years ago, and that is why I say he is a shell of himself now.

He is really just embarassing himself out there.
