Well that was a dominate performance. Guess my summer starts tomorrow lol. Damn ex always letting me down.

Plus side I will not have to listen to the Cosby Broadcasting Corporation until next season.

Now the wait begins for the start of our season.

This is where Summer starts for me. No more Canadian Teams to cheer for.

IceCaps on the links long ago.

No Habs to cheer against.

No Marlies to cheer against.

WHC over.

See you on draft night

Haha. I'm still watching the playoffs to satisfy my schadenfreude. I hope Chicago fulfills it tonight.

I keep watching but I am not emotionally attached. I really don't have anyone I am cheering for or against at this point. Don't like Torts but the Rangers are dead in the water.

Assuming that it's going to be BOS, PIT, DET, and LAK that make it into the next round, that will make for some very interesting SC Final matchups.

Boston really needs to go ahead and win today so they have a better chance of stopping the Penguins. My schadenfreude is incomplete.

The amount of empty seats at the Joe in the third was utterly embarrasing for Detroit. I felt like I was watching a game in Phoenix.

I am hoping LA wins tonight, and Chicago wins tomorrow. Just personal preference, really. LA vs. Chicago and Pittsburgh vs. Boston would be an awesome Conference Finals, leading to a pretty stellar Stanley Cup Final, I think.

"The ‘now’ is very good in Chicago. The ‘now’ back in the days when they were drafting first, second and third? It wasn’t very good. But the core of fans that stuck with them, if you asked them now, I betcha they’d say it was worth it.” - Kevin Cheveldayoff

100% agree.....I would be all over these semi final match ups Guerzy. Kudos to Chicago for battling back, and now we have back to back game sevens. Detroit and Chicago has been very evenly played and it’s so close its really down to bounces and puck luck.

I'm leaning towards hoping for an original 6 SC final with Boston and Chicago.

I like the fact the Pens and Bruins meet in the eastern conference finals, in the "Who Traded For Ignila" Series. Bruins coming out on top would be the hockey gods saying, "Jarome we didn't like how this went down.". Maybe next year.

And then a Hawks cup win for Toews and co caps a pretty spectacular season for them, all in all.

Watched Patrick Roy presser. So he's involved in trades, talking to other GMs, player contracts, FA player decisions, etc. Hmmm.

Geno Reda then asks what Sherman will do? Oh, he'll do the day-to-day stuff. He'll be busy... Meaning he'll be getting my and Joe's drycleanning, go on coffee runs, buying anniversary and birthday presents for my wife. And, Joe's wife, if he has time. .

Hey Holden,

I know we had the exact same 1st round predictions...
Did you also match me for 2nd round? I'm 3/3 so far in second round.

So am I. If Chicago wins I go 4/4 in the 2nd round (after first round). And I will have called the final 4 from BEFORE the first round. (Of course I had PIT over NYR and BOS over MTL pre 1st round.)

So far the only series which has really thrown me has been OTT over MTL. And I guess TOR stretching out BOS, I had that as a sweep (I didn't put game predictions up for all to see though).

For 3rd round, pre start of playoffs I had LA over CHI and PIT over BOS. Now I would say CHI over LA and still PIT over BOS.

So we had both 1st and 2nd round the same

The only diff is I got BOS over PIT for the whole PO...

I'm still undecided between BOS and LAK though...
