Pens get 2 goals in 4 games against the bruins.......last year their exit was really a collapse of their leadership, team defense, and then the levee broke (goaltending).

This epic collapse has to fall squarely on the leadership and stars.....Sid vanished!!!! Also a cautionary tale for posters who think all problems can be solved by adding bright shinny objects like UFA's.... it just shows that its more apt to be fools gold. Boston Picked up Jagr but would have been fine without him and how did Pittsburgh's deadline darlings do??????

What an embarrassment of a series for the Pens!

@robvollmanNHL 1h

In 136 shots, 95% of the time a goalie with a "true talent" of .930 will allow between 5 and 17 goals. Rask allowed 2.

A pretty monumental part of that series, IMO.

I mean, Pittsburg will make ANY goalie look stupid if he doesn't have backup from his team, but a human performance from Rask, instead of what he gave, which was nuts, makes that series look a lot different.

Also some leadership on that Pens team. That was pretty bad, to be honest.

And also, man am I loving Chicago.

That Hossa one-timer was off the chain, and I would do filthy, terrible, dreadful things to have a team captained by a guy like Toews. Does he ever have a complete game.

Yep!

Assuming they keep this up and finish up the series tonight, I'm really looking forward to a CHI - BOS final. Such different styles, and so dominant playing those styles. Hoping it's epic.

EDIT: Hahaha! 9.4s left, and LAK scores to tie it up. Even though I want Chicago to move on, I love it. Should be a barn-burner finish tonight.

And his epic facial hair. That man could grow a beard during a TV timeout.

What a great ending to an interesting game.

Should be an awesome Stanley Cup Final, one that could go the distance of 7 games.

...or finish in four. These series have been so unpredictable.

I'm betting it goes the distance.

I second that. Brooons win in 6 is my guess.

I too have been saying since March that I wanted a Chicago versus Boston Final. Cheering for the Bruins, but wouldn't be unhappy seeing Toews win the Cup again.

That is really impressive. Also goes to show you how far behind the Jets are in so many categories.

So much for the "Pens are gonna dominate the SC series" boosting. And might I add a "haha" to Iggy.

Rumors are the game may be delayed, a tornado touched down 30 miles from the arena and they're having hail + strong winds. Metra shut down in certain areas, and a lot of fans use Metra.
