OK folks, either it's been a long time since we won a cup or it's been a long time since we saw a Leaf game cause I don't know if I'm quite ready yet to come on this board and talk about birds.

Whenever I hear the number of years it's been, my thoughts go out to the fans who have passed us. All those fans, just like us, who longed for the Leafs to win a cup but never got to see it.

Having said that, I wonder of the fate of current Leaf fans, will they get to see the victory?

I wish all you Leaf fans a Stanley Cup victory in your lifetimes...and hopefully many more.

not sure why you think its "comedic" but they did have video in 1967.

What do you think was the average age of the 6 guys on the ice for that face-off? Easily over 30, wouldn't you say? Sawchuk in net. Red Kelly took the draw and won it. He sent it up the left boards to Bob Pulford. Pulford takes a couple of strides and sends a cross ice pass to the Cheif on the move on the right boards. Armstrong moves down the right side and hits the empty net to make it 3-1. Also on the ice for the Buds, Allen Stanley and Tim Horton. My Grandfather goes crazy (a man who showed me emotion maybe twice in his life, the other being when Henderson scored in game 8 in 72). Of course I'm not old enough to actually remember all that, but I've heard the story enough it's like I can remember being there.

You can all groan and wish you didn't have to be reminded of that date, but it was a great day for me. Even if I was only 2 years and 7 weeks old.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that the address he posted was simply a joke. Guess he should have posted a or a or maybe a or quite possibly a face after it.

They just showed the game on LeafsTV, something the Habs will never get cause Gillete don't even know hockey let alone try to get their 'own' channel.

They just showed the game on LeafsTV. Through my ATi Video card I could record it and then convert it and then upload it...but no link for you!!! Only for Leaf fans.

maybe leafs could get a sister company t buy the habs so we could capitalize on the rich history to better leaf nation. We could run the montreal hockey operations out of the 11 th level of the basement in Maple Leafs Square!

It is available on DVD.

I think we bought it about 4-5 years ago at Wal-Mart.

intelligence is not how much you know, it is how well you use what you know. Just like in hockey... toronto can't win with players that don't know hockey... eg. Mcabe.
freakyborg lol your funny, only we are talking about seeing the same teams in sequence, not in a random fashion. like a habit.

kind of like you wake up, I look at my watch. And just like when we look at the stanly cup winners and see that the leafs haven't won.

Get LeafsTV, they show all kinds of classic games. Like I said before, LeafsTV is the best thing that has happened since slice bread.
It's great being a Leafs fan these days. It's LEAFS LEAFS LEAFS everywhere.

It's also why you're here, you closet Leaf fan.

numbers are nothing other then numbers, they only have meanings because we give them meanings, or in this case value. For example, sundien was 13th in points last season. That may be considered good but when you take it into context you'll see that it's not nearly as impressive as say Eliash or Alfredson... I want leafs to win, they can't do it with their current team though.
