Will you grow a "playoff beard"??

As the title asks: Are you going to grow a Playoff beard to show support for your team? I'm on the fence myself. Never tried to grow one and my wife complains if I go more than a few day without shaving. I may go for it this year since the Leafs actually made the playoffs.

What about you?

I'm 17 so it won't be a big beard, but I'll try. Hope it will be noticeable before the habs are out tho.

I would but for two problems:

1. Despite being 25, I can grow about as good a beard as the average 5th grader.

2. The Flyers missed the playoffs.

I generally despise shaving, so I tend to grow one about once a month. Shave, grow it for a month, shave, repeat.

Don't imagine the wild will be in it still in a month, so it will last longer than the wild will.

I'm like Greg freaking Zanon if I don't shave for a day. Seriously, I shave at 5:30 a.m. (pre-work) than around 2 it's almost all back, by the next day I look like a YETI. If I waited until Ottawa was out to shave I'd look like a caveman.

So hell no!

No.

I would have had to start last playoffs if I wanted one.

I've grown a playoff beard every time the Oilers have made the playoffs in the last 7 years. I'll pass this year.

Thanks to Middle Eastern genetics, my beard growing abilities are that of a guy like Bergeron or Letang. I grew a nice beard last year so I may do something again this year.

Nope. I don't believe in any hockey superstitions. If your team is going to win, then it will win, regardless of your facial hair.

I would except for two things. First the Flyers didn't make the playoffs *sad trombone*. Secondly, I already have a beard (which incidentally began it's life as a playoff beard in 2011, but after the Flyers lost I was too disappointed to even shave it off and just went with it from there).

No, partly because any facial hair I grow comes in way too patchy and partly because my job would make me shave it. Not that my work doesn't allow beards, they'd just tell me I look dumb and to shave it.

I look homeless if I don't shave.

Not a good look to put on when working at a doctor's office.

I would like to, but I just get a wicked neck beard if I don't shave for a week or so, and my girlfriend is not a fan(nor am I for that matter).

No thanks. I have no problem growing facial hair, but it only looks good for about 2-3 days before it begins to look awkward.

I didn't shave for a month when the CBJ had their win streak, and the run to the playoffs. Even though I'm only 18 and grow facial hair like Sidney Crosby. Shaved last night.

So I guess that counts.

Yes. Then again, I don't have much of a choice. It only takes me a few hours after shaving to look like Giant Gonzalez.

I turn 26 over the summer and never have to shave. My face will look the same mid June as it does right now; no shaving required. It's the saddest playoff face of all time.
