I can't even fathom this team 'turning it on' because they 'know how to play in the playoffs'

Expecting a big disappointment tomorrow night, but that won't stop me from cheering for them.

Go B's!!

Btw I have Toronto winning 4-2 (Kessel 2 g 2 a).

The Bruins' inability to wake up for big games continues in the playoffs.

given how we've played the last half dozen games the only shred of positivity I have before this series is that Carlyle isn't Dale Hunter. That's about it though.

Do you think Jagr believes he's too good to play on a line with Chris Kelly?

I have no idea what the lines will be; I'm not sitting in on coaches' meetings. But if Jagr thinks Kelly is beneath him I wouldn't want him on the Bruins. Thankfully I doubt that's the case, because as I said, from everything I've seen and heard, Kelly is highly respected by his peers.

And yes, that absurd rant deserved a a million times over.

I really hope the Bruins can find the emotional energy they are going to need to win this series.

This is going to be extremely physical. Get ready to hate Leo Komarov.

What's funny is that you think Jagr shouldn't think he is above Kelly. If he didn't think that, he would be an idiot.

Come ahhhhn Lou, think about the company you work for and most out there today, thorough to the point of redundancy right?

You know they do everything they can to prepare for a series and run, experience unfortunately is not everything

I don't think soderberg is ready for the playoffs he was horrible Sunday and was on the ice for 3 goals I believe

Hamilton is way to soft for the playoffs right now

Don't have a problem with the lineup but if doggy has a bad game bench him for peverley

Let's go bruins

5-2 !

If Soderberg and Hamilton are both scratched and Jagr is playing with Daugavins for Game 1, I will eagerly await your response.

Great GDT Marshmont! I borrowed your Grumpy pic for my Twitter background. If that's a problem, let me know and I'll remove it.

Let's go B's! Playoffs are what every hockey fan looks forward to. Let's win Game 1!

For most of this year and a lot of the second half of last year the Bruins have been a reactionary team and the CJ has been a reactionary coach. He coaches and the Bruins play depending on their opponent, during their Cup run and the first half of last year, they didn't. They put out their players and played their game and let others adapt to them, but somewhere along the line something changed. We turned into a turn the other cheek, non-intiating team. Or as Colt would say, the nail and not the hammer.

They need to get back to the way that makes them successful, they need to stop caring about taking a penalty or pissing people off. When they have their 'swagger' they didn't give a **** about taking penalties, they knew they would kill it of and if they didn't they knew they'd get it back.

I want to see that mean, don't -give-a-**** team again. That team wins.

i only bother with espn's sortable team stats and a few writers. everything else might as well not exist.
