My GF has been wanting to watch it as well, and I've had many friends tell me that we've needed to watch it, so we started on Season 1 tonight, got through the first three episodes...it's interesting, but a bit slow so far, but we'll continue it so far.

Habs game just went over the edge, everyone was playing it real physical and then a full out brawl on the ice broke out. There were about 10 people on both benches by the end.
So I guess I'm missing it, because I've never played Ice hockey at any type of level, but what is classless about calling a timeout with 17 seconds left, especially with all the crazy stuff that Montreal was doing?

Haha, I watched the first 13-14 episodes. Really, really, really tried to get into it. Really regretting watching it though. Not enjoyable at all.

Well Price went full Luongo and Subban went full ******. This game was like a game from the pens vs flyers last year.
GOT is one of the best shows on TV. don't hate on him.

It's all a matter of opinion, the others said it well. As a coach you shouldn't be stirring the bee's nest, but Montreal was also being ridiculous and deserved it. You need some major balls to do what MacLean did, that's for sure.

Luongo would've stopped that.

edit: And that one.

4-1 Sharks.

What's this I smell? Could it be goalie controversy in Vancouver?

He might have. Terrible pinch by Edler and Schneider gets caught deep in his net on both goals .

Another one

It's almost like Roberto Luongo is still a good goalie. It doesn't make sense, I've heard nothing but the contrary for the past two years.

Wouldn't mind seeing the Sharks win it all. That way Thornton can finally get rid of that choker label. IMO, he's the closest thing to Forsberg in terms of playing style and production (except the playoffs). Anyone agree/disagree?

Do people consider Couture to be a sniper? He does have more goals than assists and three 30+ goal seasons in a row (if we prorate this season to a 82 games).

It's pointless, they won the game and no need to embarrass Montreal(as he said they were doing a good job of that on their own) It's like running up the score.

EWWWW

Joe is a perimeter that gets lost when his team needs him.

I'd like to see them win it, and have a few times in recent years, but I think they're a team on the decline despite an impressive first round showing.

If they play St. Louis in the next round (highly possible), I think their offense will get shut down.

Stop it. I bet you would like him if he was 5'9" instead of 6'4".

Paul Maurice is so boring on TSN.

Probably, but I would like him if he played like he was 6"4 or at least elevated his game some what in the playoffs/international tournaments.

I like Maurice behind a team's bench.

Vancouver

I'm looking forward to game 4 in Ottawa but I think the NHL will have a word with both teams.

Vancouver has totally mismanaged their situation over the past few years, and it looks like their window is closing (Sedins getting older, lower cap, and Kesler's style of play catching up to him). They should have went all in with Lou and just moved Schneider (who could get a bigger return IMO). With the talent on that team they should have at least 1 cup. I'm not complaining because I hate that team, but Gillis has really made a mess of the situation up there.
