Does Fehr play 5 on 5?

How does this guy win the league MVP? I can think of a dozen players who should have gotten it over him. He can't skate.

Yeah, because MVP means "best player in the league".

He can skate extremely well for a big man. Although he does sometimes look awkward on his skates he is surprisingly fast and balanced.

His playoff performance is not indicative of his regular season performance. During regular season he was commanding on a PK, PP and even strength. However, based on his performance during these playoffs, as you have observed, he would not even be picked as Brandon's MVP....

Who stood out for both teams in game 1 in your opinion? Kelowna look fast, hard working and disciplined, a step too far for my Wheaties unless Yeomans is hurt, courtesy of Later...

if he could skate he wouldn't of been cut for the world juniors. stone feeds fehr that is why fehr gets so many points, fehr is not as good as he looks

He got cut because he had a terrible camp, not because he can't skate. The guys is 6'4 and still growing into his legs. I also used to think he couldn't skate, he sometimes looked like a new born dear, but his stride is powerful, balanced and effective and he has an extra gear to spring past defenders. Maybe watch him more closely next game buddy.

he got cut because the rw positions were locked up with the exception of the 4th spot which was between him and Corey Perry and perry had a phenomenal camp....Fehr didnt have a bad camp he was just in a position that included 2 returning players and an NHL player.

as for someone saying a dozen players should have got it above him that is laughable....the only player in the league close to Fehr this year was Phaneuf and he edged him out of the east.

Yah, I guess it did come down to him and Perry, and how could you leave Perry off the team after a camp like that.

Stone should have made it though!
