Surprised it's that cheap really.

It was as if Nabokov was trying to give Neal an empty net.

He needs to stop letting in goals from behind the net.

I am not watching that game, but you'd have to think that if Fleury can't get it done this year, the Pens might look to upgrade.

I thought vokoun was the upgrade

Seriously though this pens/isles series has been awesome back and forth goals and great skill on both teams

Edit: the pens should really consider starting their backup for game 5

Tavares just scored a filthy, nasty, disgustingly ridiculously good goal

Hey everyone who isn't watching the Isles/Pens game.

...

Watch it.

Does this series remind anyone else of Edmonton - Detroit in '06?

Any team that consistently gives up 6 or more goals in the playoffs in present day deserves to not even be there.

The Pens are an embarassment. Much like the pathetic, weak, EC.

Is there any worthy team in the east?

I wonder how much pressure Bylsma is feeling right now. His regular season record is pretty damn good, but this is another time when the Pens look like they are struggling in the playoffs.

I mean, he's done well when faced with numerous injuries, but a roster that stacked should be wiping the floor with an 8th seed.

Fleury has let in 40 goals in his last 10 playoff games.

.860 sv% during that time.

The Isles-Pens series is shaping up to be shades of '93.

Maybe Iginla should have waived for Boston instead...imagine if the Islanders knock them out .

Not really, but I'm sure we'll hear tons of whining about it--especially from coach Therien.

Sooner the Canadiens are out the better. I'm starting to hate them more than the Canucks with all their incessant whining.

I always had a hunch that the Isles could surprise in the playoffs this year. Good for them.

I'd be shocked if he doesn't start Vokoun. Your GM goes out and brings in a $2,000,000 insurance policy on Fleury and you don't play him in this situation? Yikes.

Agreed. Plus I have a ton of respect for Paul MacLean. He was one talented, mean SOB in the 80s. Prust could only ever hope to be a pale imitation of MacLean as a player. What Ottawa is doing without Spezza is just awe-inspiring.

Vancouver's weakness is teams that play tough.

I have a feeling that they're no where near as good as their record indicates... I mean, they play us, Colorado and Calgary a ton. Three teams that are in the top 7 of the draft.

Isles have a lot of offensive talent, Pens have Fleury, basically a battle of which sieve has bigger holes.

We went 3-1-1 against Vancouver this year
