I'm pulling for the Isles in that one. I have a weird connection to that organization. Maybe it's the orange and blue.

Tavares is going to be the clutch playoff player.

This is certainly Vokoun's chance to shine in the playoffs.

Don't think he got a chance when he was with...Washington?

Even if it is the Canucks, I don't like games being decided by ****** reffing. There were some soft-ass calls going against them and the Sharks were embellishing a bit too. Oh well, I guess they got a taste of their own medicine this year.

What I can't figure out is why they left him in yet again.

There is an unwritten rule about not making the refs look like morons. It eventually will catch up to you.

Maybe Bylsma needed one more prime "example" as to why he needed to start Voukun next game? That 6th goal would qualify.

My guess is Voukun plays moderately, or good enough, the Pens get things together and then it's an interesting offseason in Pit.

Brian Gionta's playoffs are over. The Montreal Canadiens announced Wednesday that their captain has a torn left bicep muscle. He will undergo surgery on Friday. Forwards Brandon Prust and Ryan White will also miss Game 5, while Carey Price is day-to-day with a lower-body injury.

Not good if you are a Habs fan.

This is what happens when Markov is healthy.

Sedin to Swe media/blogs:

This is a very frustrating team.

We will play the world championship.

It was not fun to be swept, this will be a very interesting summer.

These are things I've never heard before from the twins... Will they blow the team up this summer? The sedins enter the last year of their contracts... Can we try to buy one of the twins, just to see their reaction?

They act like 12 year olds.
They refuse to not play with each other and will go back to Sweden and move into their parents basement to play with model trains.

They need to look in the mirror. They are suppose to be the go to guys. This isn't like Nash who had no help in CBJ, this is a set of twins that at the very least have each other to rely on.

What's worse for them is they have a decent amount of talent around them the past bunch of years, so it's not like they were the team. At 33 this fall who in their right mind is going to want them? You take them you are taking them as 2/3 of your top line.

Only teams I see taking a chance on them are non-playoff teams. Things aren't going to get better for the twins.

Pens made the obvious decision but key for me is they did it early so it won't be a distraction unlike some other western canadian team

Must win for toronto today if they go down 3-1 today i don't see them coming back

I think we'd all be fine with that.

I think separating them is the right play. They have become complacent.

Tencer always looks so unprofessional when he goes on his anti-Vanouver tirades.

I haven't heard this one but at least he waited until they were actually eliminated this year.

A fair point. The goaltending hasn't been great in the games I've watched.
Doesn't give me any more confidence in Dubnyk however.
