Yeah. All of this success is just going to solidify Cali as the destination of choice for hockey players. As if they need anymore help attracting all of these spoiled millionaires.

Yep, Kings have won 3 in a row and by the time next game rolls around Blues are going to be wondering what it takes to beat the Kings.
Kings are rolling and when the SC champ gets it in gear they're harder to stop. Kings have been in these situations before, Blues don't match experience wise.

Strong argument could be made that Doughty is becoming/is one of the premier hockey players in the world. If god was strapping on a jersey he'd be playing like Doughty did in this game. Absolutely unreal composure, smarts, consistent decisions, execution. Always respected his game but he just keeps getting better. Kid will be a legend. The entire Blues gameplan in this series is wearing down Doughty. It just doesn't happen.

Blues deserve to be golfing already. They've been valiant, don't get me wrong, but they haven't really generated much of anything in the series. Quick has been off his game or this would be done already.

To add to that Blues have had ample luck on their side. For instance two tying goals in the series with seconds left.

Bettman.

He care a lot.

Cali has become the big dream market the NHL always wanted.

This is gold exposure for the NHL.

If The NY clubs pull it out this is ideal for the NHL.

I'd accept a death stare from April Reimer anyday.

Replacement I know you love LA but not sure how you can say Quick hasn't been great and the Blues lucky.

Quick>>>>Elliott

Kings experience>>>Blues

Otherwise they're pretty even. Berglund Backes and Stewart need to show up though.

I'm pulling for LA, they are one of my favs out there. I have to admit Quick hasn't been the Quick he can be. Seems to be letting some weak goals in.

Didn't realize CHI has 100% Penalty Kill right now. At the other end of the spectrum and not surprising Isles with 60%.

If anything I think we can blame Sean Avery for all of this. Terrible influence that guy

Imagine how good Ottawa would be if they had Spezza back. MacLean and Murray have done an excellent job of building that club.

This is a good point. They have 2 of the top 5 players in the game and Shero has put together some pretty impressive lineups and yet there's such parity that there's no guarantee of even getting to the conference finals with this lineup.

It's never their fault is it?

They dive and pull dirty **** all season long without getting called for it.

When everyone is watching in the playoffs, the refs stop falling for their antics.

and then the crying....oh so much crying

It's a "systemic" problem in Vancouver, they're self indulgent whiners, Organization, Media and onward, who feel like their entitled to greatest and "Everyone" is holding it back or against them.

If you KEEP failing and you KEEP suggesting it's the "universe" out to get you, then you lack PERSPECTIVE and NEED to take a look in the mirror.

Truly pathetic.

Edit: This is just like that "old" guy you might work with in a wearhouse, who says he "doesn't work Hard, he works Smart", and then acts surprised when he's Continually passed over for any kind of promotion, as if they "world" is against him.
