I'm okay with the picks other than Crosby. I don't see him being the most valuable to his team. Tavares and Ovi for sure.

Datsyuk and Zetterberg are pure magicians with the puck. Amazing to see just how strong and tenacious they are when cycling.

Leafs are getting dominated in this 3rd period.

Chara finally scores to cut the lead to 2-1.

James Reimer is showing well in this series. It's been a long time since I've seen a team hanging on for dear life like that. The Leafs are totally outclassed and it's a joke that this is going to Game 6.

Eh..let's give some credit to the Leafs here. They outplayed Boston 2/3 periods in the game and played quite well in previous games too but Rask was terrific. Carlyle has done a great job with that team.

Detroit WTF.

2 goal lead with 3:30 to go and next time I look over it is 3-3 going into OT.

Washington with the OT winner. Ribiero. Couldn't happen to a more unlikeable guy (seriously... just something about his face...)

So Jay Bouwmeester finally makes the playoffs and his team ultimately chokes.

I think the Oilers will pursue him as I think St. Louis will put him on the market before any of their ELC kids.

Oh and Dustin Penner ... not a bad player to have in the playoffs apparently. Dude takes way too much **** to be honest.

When Penner wants to be, he is a beast. The talent, size and strength to be unstoppable. Problem is that over the last 3 years he hasn't shown up outside of the playoffs. When you are the Kings and as deep as you are you can afford that.

But whatever. I've always liked Penner. Seems like a great guy and it is nice to see him come up big in playoff time.

As for JayBo. I would be all over it if you could acquire him for a reasonable price.

Pretty surprised the Blues lost 4 in a row though. I had them winning the series. Shows what I know. NOT MUCH. I also thought the Maple Leafs and Islanders didn't have a snow balls chance in hell after their first games...

Told you guys when LA gets rolling it was over for the Blues. STL had nothing going offensively in this series at and weren't generating sweet **** all. Quick gifted them goals on rebounds for a lot of their scant markers.

Blues had to take game 3 to dissuade LA. When blues lose that game Kings were right back in the series.

Seriously?

That was a **** poor performance by the Bruins who took nearly half the game to feel like showing up. Monumental fail by the Bruins on home ice giving the Leafs so much possession in the first and letting them feel their way into what should have been the clinching game.
****, Leafs had 18sog in 15 mins. Just disgusting.

Bruins are one lazy ****ing team. Didn't care enough to close the deal. Hope they have to go seven now and would serve them right.

I think LAK is going to repeat this year unless they play SJS next round.

Onus is on DET to beat ANA and create the CHI-DET setup (more in DET's favour than you'd think, DET always seems to match well against CHI due to similar systems).

SJS-LAK is where I think LAK will probably lose if they're going to in this playoffs. SJS can play the same STL-style game, but they have more high-end talent to score in a physical game.

CHI-LAK as a WCF I think would result in an LAK victory. CHI has amazing transition and skill but that's exactly the type of team LAK is built to dominate. I don't think Toews/Hossa and especially Sharp/Kane are going to have fun playing against the Brown's/Richard's/Penner's/Carter's of the LAK. They may leave badly injured.

STL has arguably better transition than CHI - and LAK was still able to withstand it and shut them down. I don't know if CHI can use skill to beat LAK in their own zone.
