Notice 2 of those 3 non-sellouts were games we played the teams that supposedly fill half our barn when they come to town.

Proud of our area and how they stuck with the Bolts, even on a ...'less than stellar' season.

Well, they did their part fill half the barn, but Tampa couldn't give the tickets away to locals when they got $8 haircuts and stuff.

You couldn't get junior tickets in Canada for less than $600 CDN for one seat in the bleeds, but in Florida they have to give them away because it doesn't snow there.

I wonder what effect the dismal season will have on STM renewals.

Here's a promotion that might help: a free Seth Jones bobblehead with all STM renewals.

The Rays would love to have 19K + every night. The Bolts have marketed hockey and the franchise well. Now they need to put a consistent winner on the ice to solidify the whole package and they appear to be moving in that direction. Come in October!!!!

Sun Sports, the exclusive regional television home of the Tampa Bay Lightning, proudly announced the 2013 NHL regular season finished as the highest-rated season ever in the history of the Lightning on the network. This year, 43 out of 48 games aired between Sun Sports and FOX Sports Florida, and the final household rating average in the Tampa DMA was a 1.8 HH RTG (32,518 households). The 1.8 HH RTG marked a 30 percent year-over-year viewing audience increase for the Bolts, according to Nielsen Media Research.
