Chara still looks bad on the powerplay, wish Claude would use pp as a chance to rest Chara so he is fresh for 5 on 5 and shorthanded

Crossing off issues as solver in this game as this has gone on. Now finish a full 60 and prove you can hold a lead and be dominant in the third.

Very encouraging game so far.

Thoughts after two periods of watching it with no audio.

-Our team can move like the wind when they want to.
-They are playing the perfect amount of physicality.
-Our forwards are doing an excellent backchecking

One criticism:

-Maintain boys. The homestead is what we need now. The defense gave up a few chances here and there. keep it together and close this game out.

for the most part we've been extremely well-rounded and I'm impressed the jump we've had.

Last time I rely on DVR for a playoff game. I missed half the game due to thinking CNBC was going to carry the game (it's on the effin' listing). Argggggggh. Anyhow, this is awesome to see.

Just know we can't get cocky. You know RC will try to make adjustments; probably next game won't dress guys like Orr and Fraser. Just as well, CJ has to get our team to not take the foot off the gas.

Second worst team in the league this year protecting 3rd period leads...none of the other worst five teams made the playoffs.

Gotta win this period. Give them no hope.

Yes, I think Redden, or even Ference or Seidbenberg would be a better fit. But it won't happen!!

Two things I've noticed.

1. Ference won't be playing the next game...which sucks because the guy is intense as hell in the playoffs.

2. Looking at that lupul hit, guys gotta stop turning away from checks last minute. Someone is going to get hurt really, really bad. That's not a leafs bash, that's something everyone in the league needs to wake up about!

Why? The idea is that those guys in the slot pick up the rebound. It's a solid play. Smarter than him passing through traffic which he can't do.

Is that really a surprise? The isles were clearly a fraud...I mean look at that defense.

But, to counter my moderation and sobriety, that 2nd period looked the best I've seen Boston play in a while.

WRT Ference not in next game...because he looks poor or because of a potential NHL head office call?

The Bruins' 4-1 lead right now is their largest lead since the 4-0 win over Vancouver on June 15, 2011.
