When it comes to the faceoff dot, if you aren't cheating you aren't trying

This is the truth.

Actually, of the pairing, I'd say Stuart had the worse game. Some of that was because it looks like he is the designated puck-handler, and he made some bad decisions with the puck, but Stuart looked like it was 2000 all over again...
I'll let others judge who's seeing only what they want to see as I'm kinda biased.

If Gomez or Havlat aren't ready by next game, we literally have no options. Kearns? Pelech? Lol.

Well AV is right. The Sharks do cheat all the time in the circle. Its one of the advantages of having so many natural centers. However its not like the Nucks don't take liberties with the rules

The fact that we roll with 2 centers on almost every line allows us to cheat on the faceoffs without worry of being tossed

They'll play Kennedy if neither Gomez or Havlat can go. Kennedy wouldn't be a bad option for the spot they'd be looking to fill and certainly over the others they have as options.

The fact that 90% of our wingers are converted centers helps.

The funny thing is that Thornton's line is the one that doesn't have two centers. lol

He has to be hurt, because he wasn't throwing the body. Everyone else was, but JT really wasn't. He also was getting rid of the puck quickly tonight...
I really liked JT shooting tonight.

That's ok, he'll be fine on the 4th line. Let him just go out and be a hit machine. It'll help.

Many teams don't have the luxury of being able to cheat as much in the circle as the Sharks can

I was just about to make that first point. They have so many people who are good at faceoffs. It isn't truly cheating either, rules state that if someone goes early they get tossed.

It is sortof like in track, if you jump before the gun shoots, you get a warning. If you do it again, you are ejected. It would be foolish not to try to jump it the first time.

Crying about a team cheating in the face off circle is like crying that someone screened a goalie... THey all cheat even the canucks. I know... shocking...

I rather play Tennyson as a forward than Kearns or Pelech.

I dislike AV as much as the next guy, but he wasn't "crying" there. He said something like "The Sharks cheat, but they have power to cheat". He's not wrong.
