If Perron is choosing to pass up that shot, it needs to be for a can't miss pass. Not the case here, as it needed to clear two defensive sticks. I was pretty pissed as I watched that unfold.

LA looks just as weak as they did the other night...but man, don't know if we can go without Backes though.

In the context where they'd given Jackman and Brown a lot of leeway he tripped Doughty, subtly but he did it and the ref saw it. That goal is on Jackman. Schwartz' play was stupid, Steen tripped the guy, which was the bad call? Reaves?

Refs are awful. It is THAT simple. You don't just think you're going to skate in on goal after the whistle blew 10 seconds ago..its ********. As far as the Reaves call...I can't even..stick wasn't close...

Yeah, someone in an office in New York looked at the series' score, the GDP of each city, and made a call.

Hey, shouldn't he get suspended for that. He clearly intended to elbow Schwartz in the head.

I hope Backes is all right. And Dustin Brown just slugs Schwartz. he knew he'd get a penalty, and didn't care. He just wanted to make a point.

They'd better score on this PP.

They suspended Ovechkin once for as much. Apparently the bias against a small market is stronger than the bias for a superstar. Eye-opening.

We look so flustered. Flopping pucks, making bad decisions with the puck and refusing to shoot when open.
