Later

Just saw a highlight of him jumping on Yeomans. Should he be suspended? I think so, cheap play at the end of a game they where not coming back in. Yeomans may not be back for any games.

sure that was cheap shot knee to the back but did you see what later did while going to the penalty box? he did the slit across his throat jester to bodie, just cheap crap by a player that could be a good hockey player. throwing the water bottle to the ground in the penalty box then jumping on it. then throwing the water bottle in the crowd and getting kicked out of the game.

cheap crap.

I thought it was a very stupid play, and if Yeoman is in fact hurt Later should be suspended for a game, but he probably won't.

He's been doing stuff like this all play-offs.

*predicts a line brawl at the faceoff when Later is on the ice*

IF the game is in hand for Kelowna

It's funny, because Later was doing that same BS during his brief stint with the Cougars. It's nice to see that he had a good season, but he has a 2 cent brain it seems like...

Assuming Later plays tonight (apparently he was already arguing with McCrimmon on the bench before he jumped on Yeomans and got kicked out), wonder if Gary Sylvester will be in the Kelowna lineup?

Doesn't really matter because Kelowna never plays their 4th line. Well maybe they will if he is dressed and feel the need to? Either way I wouldn't mind seeing some fireworks.

game one the forth line got about 8 shifts. every time brandon put their 4th line out so did kelowna. it was good for weber and cumisky because they got less ice time while the two fourth liners were out there with deschamps and couture.

truitt should dress sylvester tonite just in case later does stupid things again

True. But that rarely happens. Sylvester isn't in the lineup tonight anyway. So I guess it doesn't matter at this point...

thats probably due to the lack of shots he had. That was just a combo of nerves/mental boredom , brandon does definetely need to pressure him tho(if Yeomans isnt playing)

Regardless there is no reason to brag about his performace tonight. He wasn't tested enough.

But ultimately it doesn't matter anyway. Kelowna's defense can make any goalie look good.

Fifteen shots and Westblom let in one bad goal, Kris has played very good this year and we all have total confidence in him.

Well of course you are going to say that. But there is no doubt about it, you would feel much more confident with Yeomans in yet.

Apparently, the story on Later from last night is that he spit on the handle to the penalty box door and the official asked him to clean it off. Later answered by suggesting he do something anatomically impossible and spit on it again. Ref got called over, Later got booted. Allegedly, he also swung a stick at some fans as the team left the ice after the second period. Both incidents have been reported to the league, so we'll see what happens.

Regardless, does anybody other than the Brandon fans want to see this clown representing the WHL in London? That'd be great for the league's image if he pulled this kind of garbage there.

This guy sounds like a monkey. It's a good thing he has hockey pants on or he'd probably fling poo up against the penalty box glass.

Yeomans is the weak link of this team, he is not much better than Westblom. All Rockets goalies play the same style, Guard did, Yeomans does and so does Westblom. They learn to use the huge equipment and let the puck come to them. They are not acrobatic or amazing goalies, they just use the equipment to their advantage. Not saying that is bad - it works!

So, with that in mind, I could even play goal for the Rockets and stop at least 13 out of 15. Losing Yeomans is not that big of a deal.

I am a huge wheaties fan(as you've probably picked up by now) and some of laters antics have just been down right embarassing. hes a helluva hockey player, but he lets his emotions get the best of him

Has he always been this way? It's one thing to be a loose cannon, but his actions are just unexcusable.

I agree regarding Yeomans. However he is in much better game shape than a guy like Westblom. And considering you are in the finals at this point in time, having Yeomans in net is the better option at this point of the year.

Like I said before the Kelowna defense can make just about any goalie look good. However I bet you Brandon would much rather have Westblom in net rather than Yeomans.
