Can you guys stop complaining? Sure, they played like ***** last night, but it's one game.

1.

We can start the "blow up the team" discussions after game 2, if we lose.

Awright? Alright

You're asking too much of this fanbase, I mean, there was a lot of fire AV talk yesterday in lead up to the game...

I'm not saying no, it would just be a lot harder to get full value back for them.

It's more than 1 if you look at our historical trends. You can choose to isolate this 1 game and isolate last years 5 games, but overall the trend is we can't get the job done in the playoffs.

Did Cory somewhere develop sniping ability? Unless he can find a way to score goals I think you're looking at the wrong area for a solution.

This is a new year, but yeah, I suppose if you look at it that way.

But then consider that LA nearly swept everyone.

Robinson has always said he never wants to be a head coach every again. Though I wouldn't have a problem with him being in charge of the blueline.

Unique thing having an NHL calibre coach as an assistant. One would think a team with deep pockets could make something like that happen?

Compliance buyouts have to be there at the end as an option. Otherwise, Gillis really paints himself into a corner.

I was meh before the series began, and have now had my feelings confirmed. They have carried over their play from the regular season and this coach or the teams leadership can't right the ship. Or haven't been able to yet. Either way, it's a failing situation. Has been for a long time. Look for more luke warm play in game 2.

Then we need to strip Henrik of his C and trade most of the team because if that's the case the our team has some MAJOR issues. I disagree though, I think the team plays like crap no matter who is in net.

These are the lines I want to see:

Sedin-Sedin-Burrows
Higgins-Roy-Kesler
Raymond-Schroeder-Hansen
Ballard-Lapierre-Kassian

They play better but they're losing this series anyway so it won't matter

I find it baffling that fans want more offensive players when the team has 3 first line Cs, and a log LWer. It just doesn't make sense. The personnel are here. They've always been here. Getting more out of them is the problem.

With Havlat being clearly injured, how does this team not have the edge at forward? It's really quite funny.

That's a pathetic excuse of a "team" then.

I actually thought the "team" as a whole played fairly well.

The Twins and Hamhuis were the problems. If the Twins don't show up, we're sunk.

Getting awfully tired of watching these guys playing their passive game every playoffs.

i agree to Henrik losing the C. Give it to someone with emotion..

And if they bow out in the first round, I expect a lot of the core to be moved.

I hope the lines will be

Sedin - Sedin - Kesler
Higgins - Roy - Hansen
Raymond - Schroeder - Burrows
Weise - Lappy - Kassian

Garrison - Hamhuis
Edler - Bieksa
Corrado - Alberts

Henrik is a fine captain

imo Daniel is really dragging him down this year, and Burrows hasn't been helping either. Henrik has been out best skater this year

fair enough, it was an exaggeration, but your two best forwards and arguably your best D man can't take games off. They are this team

I think he's a great regular season captain but playoffs? Meh. If he keeps playing like he did last game I don't think he should still have the C come next year. It's the least of the team's worries right now so it's not important. A lot of other problems need to be addressed before even thinking about that.

Not sure what the deal was with the Twins but they were definitely out of sync. Confident they'll have a much better game two, this series is going 7 and it's going to be a coin flip as to who wins.

Because all those claims you just made are paper claims.
